Terrorism has remained a challenge in the society for a long time with its principal cause related to religious conflicts with the fundamental issue lying behind Islamic extremists and jihadist. Pakistans position in terrorism has its roots in Afghanistan and as a result becomes a key policy concern in the United States. In relative quotient, terrorism lays its operational cause and sustainability in the socialization part of the society as well as the invention of dire war technology hence the socio-political crime (Daraz, et al. 2012). This paper discusses the root grounds for terrorism in Pakistan about the occurrence of unsolved nation-state conflicts.
Analysis of the causes
The war on terror becomes a threat to world peace and development and has become sophisticated with the militants seeking new ways of existence and striking fear and conflict. Pakistan led to the intervention of Afghanistan by the US Navy Seals in 9/11 which happens to harbor terrorism. Since the 9/11 moment, Pakistan became a breeding place for the conflict-stricken environment through terrorism as means guided by Taliban and Al-Qaeda to seek revenge for the killing of Osama Bin Laden. However, Pakistan has become a frontier in social, economic and politically funding the war on the social evil created by terrorism. The acceptance by Pakistan officials to the United States to transits war material to Afghanistan has become attributed to terrorism that has become channeled in Pakistan as a dire counteract for their support to the fight against terrorism (Katz, 2016).
However, Pakistan has remained in constant aggression to secure the region through Islamic identity it offers a chance for Islamic extremist based on religious justification. Also, she has never sought the ownership of the Kashmir region held by India but has remained angry over the property. Politico-religious and socio-economic factor in Pakistan has favored the quiet operation of Al-Qaeda and Taliban from the Country. There has been a deprivation of power and political rights to the FATA tribe which has fueled a counter struggle towards political significance and participation. The provision of security to foreign militants pursuing the war in Afghanistan has increased terrorism in Pakistan. Tribal conflicts fueled government instability that provided for maximization of armed operation hence todays terrorism threat. The geographical advantage that Pakistan owns gave the terrorists a chance to strike her to use the areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for terrorism (Irshad, 2011).
According to the reason behind causation of crime due to prolonged nation-state conflict, India has remained a rival of Pakistan, and as a result, Pakistan has funded and supported Indian rivals to fight her through terrorism. Also, Taliban-Afghanistan terror group has received support from Pakistan in the recent past. India and Pakistan have had broken relationship since the end of the cold war which led to the division of the Muslim living region Kashmir. Also, some statements and reports by the media have become published concerning efforts by Pakistan blocking Taliban from seeking peace with the US-supported Karzai administration in Kubal. The issue in the case presented to the press remains that the influence of U.S. in the search for world peace. Due to the broken relationship with Pakistan in the above case with India and United States, world peace has been proved inadequate resulting from terrorism (Katz, 2016).
Conclusion
Although the fight on terror continues, it can only get won by understanding the root causes of terrorism as well as the precipitating atmosphere for the same. However, the analysis of the foundations for terrorism initiates all stakeholders but also starts chances of restoring peace in Pakistan as well as the entire world.
