WFP gets most of its income from donations of individuals and organizations. Specifically, through its website, individuals can offer their contributions, which would be used in the purchase of the necessary foods that would be distributed to families and individuals around the world who are undernourished. In 2015, WFP received $6,894,437 worth of contributions from individuals (Jomaa, McDonnell & Probart, 2011). Other amounts were derived from its assets. Its expenses in 2015 were enormous. Specifically, it contributed grants to the United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP). Additionally, it distributed pensions to its employees worth $63,642.
