Emotional intelligence is described as the ability of nursing leaders being aware, and control of the emotions of other subordinate staff through integrating interpersonal relationships, empathetically, and judiciously of these junior nurses with the primary aim of increasing the patient care. The nursing leader usually combines emotional intelligence. In evaluating emotional intelligence in the nursing field, it is quite evident that there are multiple ways in which nursing leaders can have a significant impact towards junior employees and through integrating the emotions of subordinate employees into improving patient care. However, there is a direct correlation between nursing leaders' Emotional Intelligence and patient safety in non-accredited and accredited hospitals

Emotional intelligence is usually an executive leadership skill which attracts significant benefits to patient care, nurses, and the healthcare organization. Leaders that have integrated emotional intelligence happens to have a considerable impact on motivating nurses of the healthcare organization. In this case, the nurses of the healthcare organization will be motivated by the high level of the positive relationship that has been enhanced by the nursing leaders of the medical center (Grindel, 2016). The positive relationship that has been enhanced by the nursing leaders will be vital in ensuring that nurses can offer quality healthcare services thus significantly improving the quality of health services that are being rendered by nurses in the healthcare organization. Nursing leaders will enhance the positive relationship through the application of emotional intelligence as nurses will understand the feelings of nurses, the contexts of patient care in the heartcare organization, and through having a higher understanding of the professional and emotional needs of every nurse that is working in the healthcare organization.

Emotional intelligence in nursing leaders will be essential in enhancing problem-solving in the healthcare organization. An emotionally intelligent nursing leader is not only sensitive but also emotionally fragile as he or she usually apply emotional competencies and emotional signals with the primary aim of managing conflict, contextualizing decisions and conveying empathy to both staff and patients of the healthcare organization (Mazzella Ebstein et al., 2019). Most medical centers usually have various issues that might either have a direct or an indirect impact towards the quality of services that are being rendered by the healthcare organization or on the other hand have a negative effect towards the operations of these institutions. In this case, during the act of nursing leaders dealing with an issue, they will be tasked with the responsibility of putting aside their feelings with the primary aim of coming up with a suitable solution. Nursing leaders will act according to the set of ethical and professional conduct that has been integrated into the operations of the healthcare organization.

Emotionally intelligent nursing leaders happen to have a significant positive influence towards encouraging junior nurses of the healthcare organization. Nursing leaders can achieve this by driving a subordinate nurse to excel in the facility. The excelling of nurses will be critical in ensuring that nurses can achieve their set goals, which will play a significant role in ensuring that they can also achieve the set objectives of the organization. Emotional intelligence integrated into nursing leaders will achieve this through ensuring that the individual goals of nurses are aligned to the overall goals of the organization which will be crucial in improving the quality of health services that are being rendered in the healthcare organization (Sharon, & Grinberg, 2018). The passion that most nursing leaders in carrying out their duties as a result of the element of emotional intelligence will be passed through to the other junior nurses. The passion that has been disseminated to the junior nurses will be crucial in instilling the same level of enthusiasm and passion among nurses thus being vital in improving the quality of health services that are being rendered by the healthcare organization. The passion that has been installed by emotionally intelligent leaders will subject a significant number of nurses to have a positive relationship with patients thus playing a vital role in building a sustainable relationship that involves both the patient and nursing practitioners.

Emotional intelligence leaders happen to play a significant role in transforming the clinical environment of the healthcare organization. Intelligent nursing leaders can have a substantial impact on the setting of the healthcare institution through having a positive effect on a stressful environment (Heckemann, Schols, & Halfens 2015). A nursing leader who has resonant leadership skills are more likely to have the ability to tune in and have the ability to understand the feelings that integrated into a particular environment, and moderate negative influences that might be present in the background (Nightingale, Spiby, Sheen, & Slade 2018). For example, when there is an issue that has triggered ill emotions within the healthcare institution, it is crucial to note that nursing lenders usually take with the sole responsibility of dealing with the problem. The nursing leader will apply the intellectual skills that he or she possess to understand the environment and create suitable strategies that will play a significant role in enhancing calmness in the community.

The strategy is usually significant as it ensures that systems that are created by nursing leaders are more effective in offering quality care to nurses. The integration of ideas of junior nurses is usually a clear indicator that nursing leaders take into account the feelings and emotions of these nurses when it comes to the creation of policies. The nurses are generally aware that there is a high susceptibility rate of poor policies hurting the emotions of most medical practitioners. Also, an increase in ill feelings among nurses will play a significant role in decreasing the quality of patient care being rendered in the health institution. In this case, integration of the ideas of junior nurses will be crucial in enabling medical practitioners to have a sense of belonging towards the health institution which will, in turn, increase positive emotions among nurses and thus leading to a significant increase in the level of patient care in the medical institution.

Job satisfaction is usually an essential element in the field of nursing. Nursing leaders are typically tasked with the sole responsibility of understanding the emotions of junior nurses and connecting these emotions in determining the amount of job satisfaction most of these nurses derive from the healthcare institution. Studies that have been conducted have indicated that the higher the rate of job satisfaction among nurses, the higher the quality of health services rendered by the healthcare institution (Coladonato, & Manning, 2017). It is quite evident that when nurses have achieved job satisfaction in the healthcare institution, patients are more likely to benefit from the nurses as they will be motivated to offer quality health services to patents of the healthcare institution. Nurses will have a positive perception towards that the roles that the nursing leaders have distributed them as their needs will have been integrated into their daily operations, thus increasing the quality of patient service.

Nursing emotional intelligence is usually an essential skill among nursing leaders in conducting educational nursing programs. Educational and training programs that are generally subjected by nursing leaders are generally critical in improving the competency skills of nurses in healthcare institutions (Foster et al., 2015). A nursing leader who is usually at the top-level management of the medical institution is usually tasked with the responsibility of undertaking the training programs with the primary aim of ensuring that these nursing training programs are useful in the operations of these institutions. However, in this case, it is usually highly essential for nursing leaders to integrate the element of nursing emotional intelligence. The nursing leader will be tasked with the responsibility of understanding the emotions of employees before undertaking the training program with the core aim of improving the quality of patients are in the medical institution. In this case, junior nursing employees will indicate a positive perception towards the training program that is advocated by nursing leaders, which in turn will significantly increase the quality of health services rendered by these medical practitioners.
