Introduction

Green plant desalination is an industry where salt is taken from salty water so that the water can become suitable for irrigation, drinking and also for domestic use. To make water potable, the UAE needs to desalinate seawater. The UAE has a security policy 2036 about water whose primary aims is to make sure that there are continuous accessibility and flow of water in times of emergency conditions and also during normal circumstances. This policy was created from a general national perception to conceal all rudiments of the supply chain of water in the country. All the authorities and entities that are concerned about the resources of water in the UAE have participated in the Water Security policy 2036.

Since the United Arab Emirates has limited resources of natural water, it uses thermal desalination as the leading technology to make the seawater fit to drink. In today's world, many countries' drinkable water is generated from the main desalination plant. Because UAE lacks resources for freshwater, it is crucial for the state to find a maintainable desalination resolution so that it can satisfy its long-standing water requirements. The UAE has connected renewable energy and desalination technologies to come up with one solution. Mostly the water that is used in the United Arab Emirates is mainly desalinated, and they rely on the electricity power to prevent reverse osmosis. According to the reports of State of Energy in 2015, the need for water rose at a massive rate of 25.8 % from 2008 to 2012. The mounted volume for underground water and desalinated water reached up to around 1,585 million grand tons per day, and their production of water was approximately 393,878 million gallons per annum.

The desalination plants in the United Arab Emirates include: "Shuweihat S2 power and water plant in Abu Dhabi. It produces a volume of 100 million gallons of water per day, Jebel Ali power station in Dubai. This is the biggest desalination and power plant in the United Arab Emirates and it can produce 1420 million imperial gallon of water per day and 2060 megawatts of electricity, F2 plant in Fujairah it is a green belt power generation and seawater desalination plant that produces 230 million imperial gallons of water and 2850 megawatts of power capacity," (Hughes, Rezazadeh,& Chaudhry,2013).

The Fujairah F2 industry is green belt power generation and a seawater desalination company, and it produces approximately 130 million imperial gallons of water, and it generates a power capacity of 2,000 Mega Watts of electricity. The Fujairah plant is situated at Qidfa in the Emirate of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman. In measurements, it is approximately 20 kilometers at the north of the Fujairah city, 5 kilometers away of Khor Fakkan heading south and around 280 kilometers away from the City of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates heading North East. The plant started to operate in 2011, 6th January when it received commercial operation permit (Veerapaneni, Klayman, Wang, Carlson,& Ozekin,2011)

The Fujairah plant company and the F2 O & M teamed up together to make sure that provide the desires of electricity and water production in the Northern of Emirates. They want to make a stronger connection with people of the UAE by creating and trailing prospects to support the needs of the community. To achieve this goal, F2 O & M organization and FAPCO have established their environment and social participation committee. The committee that is chaired by Ms. Kholoud Al Hefaity of F2 O & M organization is tasked with looking for and identifying changes that will advance relations of the community for the reimbursements of the society.

The team started to meet with the leaders of the community and the municipality in Fujairah to talk about how they will make sure that the community benefits from its activities. Some of the environmental and social events that the committee planned are: the patronage of the United Arab Emirates National Day program in December 2016, the sponsorship of the department of the blood donation at the Hospital of Fujairah by purchasing new equipment's t that will aid the patients at any perilous situations that they might encounter. This was also in December 2016. The organization also supported the Humanitarian for children with special for Fujairah in September 2106, in August 2016 it aided the Humanitarian service Branch for the Sharjah city, it sponsored the football competition among the youths in June 2016, it participated with the police of Fujairah, in September 2015 it sponsored an institution during the national distinctiveness week (Gantasala,2016).

The Fujairah Asia power company is the one that owns the Fujairah F2 desalination plant. The electricity and water authority of Abu Dhabi and the National Energy company of Abu Dhabi are in joint, and they have 60% share interest of the company while Engie and Marubeni share the other remaining 40 percent interests. The plant is organized into three groups. Group 1 and group 3 are constructed on confirmation of 2 GE GT26B gas turbines. They have additional fired HRSGs and a steam turbine that is used for condensing. Group 2 is grounded on acceptance of one GE GT26B gas turbine also with an ablaze HRSG. It also has a vapor turbine that produces LP vapor for 4 Sidem (Gantasala,2016).
