My favorite place is my grandfathers house where I spend most of my time during summer holidays. Its a house that has a lot of meaning to me since this is where my parents brought me up when I was a kid. My father used to work overseas when I was growing up, and as a result, my mother and I spent most of our times at my grandpas. I went to high school when I was still at this place and when I joined college, my father returned home, and we had to move out to our place. Since then, Ive been missing to go at my grandfathers house every time I spend more time without visiting him. There are a lot of reasons as to why I adore this place, and in this essay, Im only going to highlight some of the main reasons why I consider this place to be my favorite.

The geographic location of my grandfathers house is one of the reasons why I love this place. Its located in Denver, Colorado which is one of the best geographic locations that Ive ever been to in my life. The landscape of this place is fascinating due to the small hills that surround it. Hiking has always been one of my hobbies and Denver gives me an opportunity of a lifetime to enjoy hiking in most of its surroundings. Normally, Im joined by my relatives during my holidays and together, we can benefit from the landscape during different activities such as camping, riding bicycles, and skating. This place gives me a chance to develop a sense of belonging to the family of my grandfather. Denver also has some of the best tourist attraction sites such as museums, and during most of our free time, we visit these sites which are not only fun but also offer us some educational lessons.

One of the other reasons why I love my grandfathers house is because during most of my holidays, most of my relatives meet at this place and the experience that I get at this period of the year is like no other. The happy feeling that I get is due to much of the laughter and jokes that my relatives make during this period. My entire family including my distant relatives are always fun to live close to due to their communication ability. They also give me a sense of belonging, and I get a feeling of having one of the luckiest families in life. My grandfather himself is a wise individual, and apart from cracking jokes, he loves to offer lots of advice young people. He also loves to share most of his exciting experiences, and this makes it more interesting to visit his house once I get the chance.

The lifestyle at this house is another reason that makes it more fun to visit. Its a big house with a large backyard full of different kinds of trees. Apart from pets such as dogs and cats, this place also has amazing carvings on the walls and various decorations. In other words, I can find myself spending the entire day indoors due to the comfort of this house. It's bigger capacity makes it possible to occupy most of us in case we visit the place in numbers. My grandfather himself cant get enough of his house, and he recognizes the beauty of it due to the way that he talks about it. He is always talking about how he has enjoyed his life at this place.

My parents always recommend me to go to this place during my free time because they are always assured that here, I can live a comfortable life without them worrying about my whereabouts. It's due to this and many other reasons why my grandfathers house is my favorite place. I have many other places that I love but, none compares to this location. It has always been one of my hobbies to spend my free time with my relatives, and this adds to the many reasons why I enjoy spending most of my times there. My childhood experiences have also made me consider my grandfathers house as the best place in my life.
