Introduction
The best way to advance the interests of the socially excluded, marginalized and poor is to serve as strategic partners of overseas development associate. This way, it will be easier to understand the policies, strategies, and priorities of various donors as they deliver their donations to the poor and marginalized groups. Joining the associate taskforce will entail working with all internal stakeholders, identifying the specific group needs and suggest enhancements to support the socially excluded, marginalized and poor group.
A strategic partnership of advancing the special needs group tends to focus on identifying a strategic direction to cater to their needs. The strategic partnership is crucial in advancing the health and education needs. The role is particularly noticeable in cases of crisis and fragility, where administrations are reluctant or incapable of fulfilling their responsibilities to offer services to citizens. Since joining the anti-globalization movement for social change will not address their needs, strategic partnership is more important to build capacity in advancing the group's interests (European Commission, 2010). An overseas associate can also be tasked with advocating for human and social rights for the socially excluded and marginalized group.
Serving as a strategic partner of overseas development associates means that it will be easier to understand how donor and humanitarian agencies work. It will also be easier to seek funding and support for addressing the needs of the socially excluded, marginalized and the poor. The group requires instant help in terms of basic commodities. The aspects cannot be attained when they are challenged to join an anti-globalization movement for social change (UNDP, 2012). A strategic partnership can deliver development programs and operations, especially in the fragile situations of the poor, marginalized and socially excluded people.
