Biological Perspective

The biological perspective explains that people's behavior may not be their choice but may be caused but their nervous system, genetic background as well as their immune system (Aldwin, Igarashi, Gilmer & Levenson, 2017). As in this case, Cinderella's stepsisters may have acquired their aggressive and mean behavior from their mother. Their mother was an anti-social and ill-minded person, and this may have led to her daughters inheriting the same as they had a similar genetic background. On the other hand, Cinderella was well-behaved, and this may have generated from the genetic makeup of her parents; who were similarly lovely to other people.

Cognitive Perspective

The cognitive perceptive could also be applied in this case as it covers the manner in which a person may interpret, perceive and remember the events and occurrences that surround them and this may influence their actions or behaviors (Brannon, 2016). Cinderella had to learn the behavior of her stepmother and stepsister so that she would be able to cope up with it. Their behavior made her be more introverted and be able to withdraw from social interaction as a result of their mistreatment.

Psychodynamic Perspective

The psychodynamic perspective could also be applied in the case of Cinderella. This perceptive heavily depends on the ways in which the background of individuals affects their psychological conditions. It indicates that for one to overcome a current situation, the individual what happened to them in the past. Cinderella was initially raised in a family instilled with ethical values, and she maintained those values through ought. She used her past experiences to seek help from her fairy godmother so that she would save her from her stepmother and sister sisters. Cinderella continued to be jovial and humble as she was raised in a modest and happy background in her childhood.

Humanistic Perspective

The humanistic psychology perspective can also be applied in the psychological analysis of Cinderella. It infers to the aspect that the behavioral study should be based on the whole person, not only through the observer but also through the person possessing the behavior (Magnusson, 2015). The cruel step-sister's and step mother's behavior could have emanated from their inner feelings of jealousy. They must have been jealous of the nature and loving attitude of Cinderella and hence retaliated by mistreating her. On the other hand, the excellent behavior of Cinderella was a result of her self-actualization and love for others. As a result, Cinderella remained humbled, even with the severe mistreatment.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the story of Cinderella is a concrete representation of the psychological perspectives of analyzing human behavior. It gives an in-depth overview of the aspects of biological, cognitive, psychodynamic, and humanistic psychological perspectives in relation to human behavior.
