The fact that rules and regulations did not exist in America motivated the people of England to settle and develop better faith. The reforms that were made by John Calvin they moved to North America where they hoped they would finish that reformation. They were motivated by what they thought the Church of England was failing at. People in England were oppressed by losing their jobs, money to taxes, and home so they were in search a way in which they would gain their lands and homes and the search brought them to America. They were finding new routes to trade eastern goods. The new colonies flourished with trade and exports, and the people of England needed imports from the colonies. This made them settle in America where they easily acquire the goods that they required.
Factors that made Puritans and Virginia different societies
New England colonies did not extend the freedom of worship to everyone, and therefore that made it different from others. They did not welcome the people who expressed different religious approaches other that what they were having. Puritans believed that the Church of England had practices that were almost the same with the Catholicism regarding structure and ceremony. It was different from Scrooby because they advocated for the complete break of the Anglican Church. The Puritans and Virginia brought the high level of religious idealism to their first colony. The two colonies were different from other since evaluated the spiritual beliefs of identified saints who qualified to be church members, therefore, intimidating others and limits the church membership. They also put more emphasis on education because they acknowledged literate as important in Bible study.
Impact of American Revolution in America
Revolutionary was the American Revolution since it leads to a lot of change in America. American Revolution put in a series of legislative and social changes. American became the first modern republic. American Revolution led to the establishment of an independent nation. It leads to the drafting of Declaration of Independence and Constitution. It helped the Americans to reconstruct their society within the lines of Republican. It also leads to the end of slavery and adoption of emancipation plans. During the Revolution economic depression remained rampant since most people remained in the profession of agriculture.
Factors that led to a new US constitution
After the American Revolution, the founder fathers realized that there were missing documents of the Articles of Confederation which could result to inadequate to the task of unifying a diverse group of the newly independent colonies. The weakness of the Articles of Confederation which placed powers in the hands of the states wanted the founder fathers did not support. However, they wanted the distribution of power while the American colonies did not want to create another out of touch national government. The Articles of Confederation was becoming more ineffective at governing the growing American states because it lacked the strong central government. The article had three limitations namely; economic disorganization, lack of central leadership, and ineffective in legislation which led the founder fathers to push for the new constitution. The argument of the two constitutions was that the central government was not strong and so there was the need to distribute the powers. I do agree with power distribution to ensure that what the central government was not in a position to handle it was dealt with by the devolved government.
