The importance of this occasion is to thank our uncles and aunts for building our grandparents the house. I will be telling you more about Uncle Thomas, but I have to mention a couple of important things. First of all, I would like to thank you for attending the year's get together.

However, for the sake of the new members of the family, Uncle Thomas is the cool uncle. Yes, the cool uncle that is preferred by all the cousins expects his siblings and children. I know it is amazing to be liked by almost everyone in the family, but your children dislike you. Recently one of the Uncle Thomas children approached me, and he wanted we swap our dads. I know that sounds funny. Anyway, which cousin approaches you and wants to exchange his dad, yet all the cousins wish Uncle Thomas was their father.

Body

Briefly, I can explain about Uncle Thomas way of life. Uncle Thomas is the most interesting uncle that I have ever met in my whole lifetime. For the sake of you who thought Uncle Thomas is the youngest of Grandfather's children, you are wrong. In fact, he is the eldest uncle in the family, but he is the most stylish uncle.

In other words, it is the first get-together we are celebrating upcountry after our grandparents after grandparents have moved from the city due to their retirement from the management of the family company. Furthermore, today's is also the 60th wedding anniversary for our grandparents. Congratulations to both of you for keeping the love and the bond for six decades. You are an inspiration to our parents as well as ourselves.

Secondly, I want to thank you for the love and support you gave to Uncle Thomas after his wife passed away. It was a sad moment for all of us as a family; however, we have the support both Uncle Thomas and his two children needed. Additionally, I take this opportunity to thank all the cousins because all of us abandoned our busy schedules and went at Uncle Thomas place to mourn with the family. It is true that uncle Thomas children are the eldest among the ten grandchildren; however, we devoted ourselves to cheer them up during their lowest moment. Uncle Thomas and our cousins Nike and Mike we want you to know that we will forever be there for you during the good times and the bad times.

It is also important to acknowledge that the consistent support our uncles and aunts as well as my parents to grandparents. They have been offering emotional support as well as financial support to both grandmother and grandparents. I want also want to thank them for building the upcountry home for our grandparents or should I say for building the upcountry home for us. I believe that all the property associated with our grandparents belongs to all over. At least we have a home away from the noisy operations and chaotic activities in the city. We really appreciate all the efforts that all of you made for us to have a home.

Conclusion

Finally, I want to thank you for allowing me to deliver this year's family gathering speech. I feel honored and privileged to talk to you all. I want to the point that I am the first cousin to deliver the family's speech, and I do not take the opportunity for granted. At first, I was nervous when Uncle Thomas informed me that I would be reading the speech today; however, the buffer flies have already disappeared from my stomach.
