As a music teacher specializing in art tech with music, I look forward to creating a strong foundation by utilizing historical knowledge to the understanding of present-day knowledge and advancement in the field of music. From the class readings, poems play an important aspect of music. Over the years, poetry and music have remained an intertwined entity for examples in antiquity; poems were many a time presented as songs. The first lyrics of poetry in ancient Greece made performances by the use of the lyre. At the same time, Chinese poetry was always presented as songs. In Europe during the Middle Ages, poets used their occasion of presentation to influence the public by way of using songs to introduce their poems. The poem To the Virginian Voyage is one such poetic article by Michael Drayton.

By using historical data and information I will help students in understanding the rise and establishment of music by leaders and travelers alike. The activities and achievements of historical leaders remain an important feature in modern day education to highlight the leading events that culminated in the present day knowledge and educational content. For example, a closer look at the letter of Alexander to Aristotle brings forth numerous aspects of socio-economic and political aspects of today's communities in addition to knowledge acquisition. At the same time, the letters as historical documents, form a critical aspect of the part played by education in the society. I have come to appreciate and understand the part played by historical events, writings, and personalities in shaping the present and future. From the historical readings such as the Alexander letters to Aristotle, it is possible to learn on their triumphs, success, and failures. Incorporating such historical aspects of their undertaking will form a critical aspect of my teaching ethos.

Utilizing concepts learned will no doubt play a significant aspect of my growth and development as a teacher. It will help me in instilling the right knowledge and skills in my students. At the same time, it will help me stay focused on offering relevant and up-to-date information as far as musical concepts and knowledge are concerned. The experience of knowledge acquisition is very important to my development as a teacher who is looking forward towards giving the best to my learners. The readings such as "Perspectives: England in the New World" provides for an opportunity to understand the importance of the development and advancement of world issues as far as knowledge and intellectual issues are concerned. For instance, the first voyage made to the coast to Africa is an important highlight on how the world moved from one ideology of education to another. I will endeavor to widen my teaching framework to help my students understand musical knowledge from such a perspective by way of linking historical details to present day education standards.

I look forward to bridging the gap between historical musical knowledge to present day knowledge advancement in line with the established standards of education. Through this, I look forward to laying a strong formidable foundation for my students regarding acknowledging the pioneers of musical knowledge and the gradual growth and development of the same to the present day. One of the most critical aspects of education and making the concepts of education have a strong foundation is applying relevant concepts and ideologies especially those from historical contexts within the framework of modern day knowledge dispensation. This remains one of my core goals in as far as music is concerned. It is impossible to advance in any given field without creating a firm foundation of the same on a given strong philosophy. My hobby and love for double bass will be an important aspect of my teaching career, going forth with confidence and strong resolution in giving my students the best. As the quoted by socialist that life without music would be a mistake, I would take it upon myself to be strong in my students' lives by applying relevant strategies to improving their overall understanding of the role of music in life as a whole. With this approach, I believe that I will play a significant role in my student's lives while at the same time enhancing my skills in playing double bass.
