It is true that this district in Texas has been predominantly Republican but things have changed considering the fact that the President has been very controversial and there are some of his policies that many Americans including some Republicans view them as divisive, retrogressive and show that he is not fully committed to respectING the fundamental rights of the citizen. The president has also shown that he does not condone a parallel mind to that of his own and this is what Americans are rejecting. The politics of sycophancy is long gone in The US politics and people don't expect this. Surprisingly it is practiced by the president who is a member of the Republican Party. This was evident in the firing of former secretary of state Mr. Rex Tillerson who told the president not to meet North Korean counterpart Kim Jong Un against the president's thoughts and wishes. You must therefore, point out in your campaigns that you are in support of free America where one can speak his mind and above all work in the spirit of America.

There are families that are very influential in the district, they must be identified and be convinced on why they need to support our side and when they rally their support on us, we shall win over some votes as a result of the same.

Even though the congressmen's main job is to do legislation, there are so many issues that affect the people of district 7, yet no one has stepped up to help the people get better services from their government. Education sector

Some schools in the district are struggling since they don't have enough cash and consequently face the potential close down. Some find their students homeless and therefore cannot force students to go to school in that condition. Education problems in the district must be addressed very fast. People need good health for a nation to grow. There are some hospitals with fewer doctors than the required. These hospitals must get the right number so that the people can get medical services with ease without the doctor getting overworked.

The aging infrastructure

In some parts of the district, there are some roads with potholes and are no longer good for use. You treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves to make the government inject money into these projects for repair.

Legislation and Party matters

You must make the people understand that It is normal for every member of a party to serve the interest of the parties they belong to. But it is important to note that parties can't exist without the people. Before anything is said or suggested in the party of Congress, you will have to consult the citizens of the 7th district and actually pass it forward.
