Patterson (22), for three counts of first degree murder in the June killings of Ida Strouth; her son Jacob, 9, and their neighbor, Jeremiah Sponsel. Patterson went to Strouth’s Windom Gables complex at 61st St., and Wentworth Court after finding out that Sarah Strouth's 3-month-old daughter would not be moving into the Richfield apartment she shared with them, according to Hennepin County District Court.

Rick Zimmerman interviewed Brayboy but declined to discuss how Patterson and Brayboy met.

Brayboy said that Patterson took Strouth down basement stairs. Brayboy blocked the exit to prevent them leaving, and the boys had to follow.
