First, the Vietnam War led to the massive killings, including the soldiers from the US who came to keep the country at peace. The war was majorly characterized by using forced power like bombing that led to the killings of American soldiers. The Vietnam War claimed the lives of more than 58000 soldiers of the US and led to the wounding of many other citizens. Hence this is a loss to the country as the law keepers are being diminished in the war. Therefore the families of such American soldiers are left without their loved ones as the result of the war.

Also, there was wastage in terms of economic resource of the US to support the soldiers who were out in Vietnam in their trial to keep the peace. World War II was one of the worst economic stands in American history where the nation was really in financial death during and after the war. Vietnam government would have in real sense supported the US soldiers for their support, but mostly they were opposing their help where it forced the American government to support the soldiers in terms of fighting materials which cost a lot of money.

For instance, the war led to the mistrust of the citizens to the government. Generally speaking, when the people of a country like soldiers were subjected to the killings, it changed the people's views about the government. The Vietnam conflict was in charge of evolving such attitudes of the citizens where they became suspicious about the government, and furthermore, the military was discredited for years after the battle. Such shows that the war was destructive in such a way that it affects the sovereignty of the country.

Also, the great Vietnamese war subjected the US to get locked in the cycle of conflict. After the end of that war, the United States found itself engaging in other battles like the one in Iraq. Hence it led to more painful losses to the United States as this led to most of its focus on combat. Consequently, it raises more concern about its interests in the war that consistently lacked a clear solution. Therefore, such as a waste to the country to concentrate more on conflict rather than focusing on the economic and other developments in the country.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Vietnam War was majorly unfairly destructive to the US. That is because it led to killings of American soldiers, economic losses, and loss of trust by citizens to the government and the exposure of the country to get locked in the cycle of war. For instance, engaging in a battle with the main target of retaining peace should always be accompanied by mutual support of the country involved. Hence the Vietnam government would have supported the US to help keep order rather than giving it a hard time.
