Often violence by strangers is because of disagreement between the worker and the staff. Stranger at the premises could purposely be there to instigate the violence incidence. These is usually as a result to unsettled wrangles of the stranger. Such aggression cannot be settled by the administration rather by both of the parties who are aggressed. The primary concern of the management has is to restore order and continuity of business (Kennedy, 2016). . Case of aggression by strangers are less often since the security team usually stops stranger way before they get into the premises. Stranger more often find it difficult to access business premises since they do not have the necessary authorization.

Violence at a working place may also be instigated by clients. This kind of cases arise when the client is not satisfied with the services that they are rendered, a disagreement between the client and the employee or lack of understanding between the clients. Violence between coworkers when the perpetrators of the violence are in a personal relationship with each other and are identify themselves with the working place. Measure taken by the management to avoid violence from arising at their place of work include: threat assessment planning on how to handle such incidences, procedure to prevent and manage such occurrences, incidents re investigation, follow-up and evaluation procedures and training the workers on interpersonal skills to help them in keeping suitable interpersonal relations (Kennedy, 2016). .
