Your Answer: The research in the subject is a quantitative research, and this is so because it looks into the relationship between two variables in the sense that the increase of decrease in value of one affects the value of the other. Hence we say that it is a quantitative research since it deals with the quantity or rather values.

Theory: the theory used in the paper is the theory of tax planning.

Hypotheses: the hypotheses applied in this research is that the compensation of business unit managers rather than the CEOs on the basis of after-tax leads to reduced or rather decrease in the effective tax rates.

Research Method: surveying, use of questionnaires.

Method of analysis: the method that was employed in the drawing of analysis of the data collected was the comparison of the descriptive statistics from the two groups under study was the main method that was used to analyze the data collected.

The logic used to draw conclusions: the logic that was employed in the drawing of the conclusion was that the idea of after-tax BU-manager performance measure as well as performance manager lead to lower ETRs does not necessarily suggest that such a move promotes or rather propagate for the effectiveness of tax-planning.
