Introduction

Celebrities do not die anymore! They tend to live on in people's lives as the society doesn't allow the death of a star pass on without trying to make something meaningful out of it. Dying in today's world is not the end of money making. Technology makes this easier to manage. Respect to the dead celebrities is no longer a virtue in our society today as everyone is after the benefits and growth that are derived from such a calamity. The love of money and decay in today's' society is impossible to comprehend.

According to Katrina, George Lucas: Star Wars director, has a hobby of collecting dead bodies and buying film rights of dead celebrities with the hope of using technology to merge them all in one movie. Michael Jackson, a superstar who died in 2009, is the highest earning celebrity. John Lennon: A celebrity singer who died in 1980, recently released a new remixed album (Imagine) on his 30th assassination anniversary. Technology has found a way of continuity of the artists' life even after death although it is without their concept. Dead celebrities have turned out to be a booming business as long you have access to a computer. GreenLight VP: a dead renting endorsement company in Corbis, thinks that it's better dealing with dead celebrities as scandals are behind them since they won't be in a position to know the life they are living in their death. Lucas' projects tell referees artists as just a body and soul: A brand, which only gets better when old. The dead do not benefit from this films and inventions, it only favors the living, but selfish minded individuals won't give them the peaceful rest they deserve.

The primary rhetorical mode the writer uses to develop the essay is the description. Katrina tries to describe the concept of dead artists being used to make films, adverts, and songs for financial gains in details to help readers envision the situation. She picks up the idea and develops it with sensual particulars to help capture the most critical points. I figured out this to be the primary mode because of the way she describes characters in details with details of "where? Why? Which?" that apply mostly in description mode. An example of description mode is where Katrina describes Lucas and compares him to a grandmother that collects crystal fowls, giving his place of work, where it is located, his mentality towards dead artists and his attitude towards living artists. This mode is appropriately used in this essay since it gives a good story on all the characters mentioned making it easier for the reader to visualize and understand better.

Conclusion

Upon reading this essay, it is insane and uncouth! Our world has turned out to be crazy. How does one deal with blocking mortality? Which direction are we headed? How does the family of the one being 'used' feel about this? The world is full of inhumane souls! I would expound on the cold-hearted souls giving examples of people like George Lucas who use others for materialistic gains with the detailed description of their stories and why I view it to be wrong. I would also emphasize the importance of a morally upright society and how to curb the uncouth behavior. I would mainly use the description and expository rhetorical mode to bring out a better-composed essay.
