Introduction
The article "Future Technology 500" talks of the predictions of technology in the future with the basis of technology emerging currently, trends and also inventions. There have been several technologies which have been invented in the healthcare sector and made it perform better.
Robot surgery is one of the technology discussed in the article "Future Medical Technology". This technology helps in control, precision, and flexibility during an operation. Surgeons can carry out operations which are almost impossible. This is through robotic surgery, a highly advanced technology (Lipset, 2017). The surgery replacing human surgery is one thing that one cannot act a blind eye on. Overindulgence on robot surgery is not healthy. Also, the technology's efficacy has not been well established; it is not guaranteed that it will have been established in the next five years (Tornblom and Vermunt, 2016.) On the other hand, robotic surgery will enhance the quality of surgeries in the future, as the surgeons involved are made aware of the patient in real time while still in operation (Baldwin, 2016). It will have achieved its use in assisting surgeons in enhancing their work in future.
Wireless brain sensors is another technology in the field of medicine. In this, a brain is monitored after a severe injury. In the next five years, the technology will have made its way to use in many parts of the world as matters concerning brain surgery are critical, and reduction of additional surgeries is a better shot (Hitchinson and Jackson, 2016.) The expense of this technology is quite high to have been established in the next five years.
Trying a different procedure could perhaps be a better approach for better diagnosis.in this, adopting new methods could introduce a new perception to the issue hence ensuring better diagnosis, it may work as an eye opener, to what was not seen before. An accurate diagnosis only means that the problem will accurately be attended to. The certainty will increase the chances of a better cure, as one deals with the facts concerning the issues where there are no guesses on the diagnosis (Kohli, 2016.)
