There are more than a few types of angina caused by contraction of the heart arteries. Heart muscles need oxygen carried by the blood to survive (Adlam et al., 2005). Truncated supply of oxygen in the body muscles results into ischemic condition as the cholesterol deposited block the blood flow in the heart. Chest pain and discomfort characterize angina.

The risk factors to angina present in Bill are old age, obesity, stress and lack of enough exercise. Almost all the risk factors to Angina are modifiable (Sutherland et al., 2001). Diabetes can be controlled through controlled consumption of sugars. Bill is to be encouraged to maintain daily exercise to ensure free blood flow in the body.

The primary prevention of angina is based on the food taken. It is advisable to eat healthy foods and undertake physical exercises. The body fitness should be done daily. Under difficult circumstances, secondary prevention measures that include blood-thinning should be employed. Pharmacologic treatments are applied to improve the long-term outcomes in the patients with angina episode.

Beta-blockers affect both the heart and blood vessel. Beta-blockers medicine includes; pindolol, celiprolol, setalilol among others. The treatment works by stimulating the beta-adrenergic receptors. Aspirin makes the mainstay of the treatment. There should be the use of the beta-blockers for the considerably long term to manage chronic behaviors. The treatment has some side effects such are fatigue, dizziness, and headache.

Therapy is recommendable to people suffering from angina related diseases. Therapy is to keep free blood flow in the body to avoid deposits of cholesterol that may block the arteries. There is no treatment of stable Angina. Therefore, the conditions of Bill can only be regulated. Consumption of very cold or hot meals or big meals should be avoided during the period of therapy administration.

In conclusion, the knowledge to be taken into consideration as far as angina is concerned pertains to the treatment. One needs to be open to the doctor and explain out the frequency of discomfort experienced before any treatment begins. The aims of the monitoring plan are to ensure the specific drugs for the treatment are taken as per the instruction.
