Oral language affects decoding in such a way that a child must be able to identify how written word relates to spoken language. The extent to which a child comprehends the above elements determines their ability to decipher meaning from printed words. Secondly, he can utilize an annotation tool, which will enable him to take notes and write while he is reading (Hasselbring & Bausch, 2005). In this case, Raymond will be able to identify the distinction between letters 'b' and 'd' as he writes. The tool will facilitate his writing skills and promote his memory by retaining information.
