Introduction
Who is responsible for Romeo's and Juliet’s deaths? No one is to blame, but it is everyone. Romeo and Juliet were two lovers who fell in love with each other at the first sight. The play opens with servants of both houses engaging in a street brawl which eventually attracts the attention of the family lords as well as city officials including Prince Escalus. Their lives were changed forever by the tragedy of Romeo & Juliet. The Capulet servants are to blame for the deaths of the two lovers.
The capulets servants are to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death. Romeo and Juliet, scene 2, act 1, the servants of the capulets ask Romeo and Benvolio to go through the list and read it for them. When Romeo sees Rosaline, he decides to steal the capulet party. Peter handed Romeo the paper. "You little fellow, go around Verona looking for the people on the list and say hello to them at my house tonite." Romeo would not have seen Roseline's name if the servants had not given him the party list. He would have snuck into the party and met Juliet.
The servant's different viewpoint and decision made by Peter, the capelets servant is responsible for the death Romeo and Juliet. Peter, who was never taught how to read, saw Romeo and his cousin at the beach and asked them to help him to read the names on that list. He then gave them the invitation and returned home. "I was sent to find people whose names are on this list, but I can't read" he said.
Rosline may be blamed for Romeo's death. His cousin tried to rescue Romeo from his thoughts by trying to convince him that Rosline was his true love. "What is sad is that even though love is supposed be blind, it can still allow you to do what you want." Romeo explained to his cousin that romeo had fallen in love with a girl who didn't love him back. Many believe that Rosline was his lover and it was her fault.
Conclusion
The reason Romeo and Juliet died is because of the actions of the servants to the caperts. The servants of the capulets were responsible for the deaths of the entire group. They didn't teach their servant to read. They also knew that the servant was unable to read, so they sent him to invite people.
