"Pheno timers", "for me from you "and "the poem at thirty-nine" explore the theme of love. Each of these poems has a different approach to the theme of love. The poem "plena Timoris" written by Thomas Hardy bring across a philosophical approach of the theme love. According to 'pheno timoris" Thomas approaches the theme of love in a more objective approach while when you look at Alice Walker explore the theme of love as retrospectively. According to Hardy, he looks at transiency and its romantic love(Heaney, p.131). He also has a strong denial of the principle of splendid but he articulates his belief of love is shattered, ephemeral and is quite often accepted. On the other hand, St John in his poems takes a look of love in marriage if the love is significantly necessary for marriage and if love according to him is part of the marriage equation. Taking a look at "Poem at Thirty-Nine' Presents the theme of love as more familial love, this is in regard to the love bond that exists between the father and the persona. She explains the theme of love in the context of the relationship with her dead father.

There quite a major difference in the presentation of love in all the three poems. The difference in them can be explained using the cultural context in which the theme of love. "Plena Timoris" by hardy aims at articulating the love transiency in the poem. According to the poem the persona distance himself from the narrator (Irvin, 2018). The author present "tryst" between the lovers believe and later the author shatters the illusion as a way of trying to establish the love theme and hence convey his presentation of love according to the poem. The author them of love is also inspired by the romantic ideal is typically based on time which does seem the case for the author. Love theme in St. John they of love seems to be culturally affected. From the phrases "son you know you are mine" "wine carrying" bring a clear impression of the role women in Nigeria play in the tribal traditions (Warren, p.12). Love according to the poem is presented in a combination of marriage facts that has a blend between the Nigerian indigenous and western cultural practices. The fact that the persona chooses who to get engaged to is a clear presentation of the theme. Through her message, we closely examine the theme in relation to the part of love in marriage.

Moreover, the poem "poem at thirty nine" the theme of love is quite different as its not much affected by the cultural context but the love in this context is affected by the poet brought up by her dad which and hence the poem that a retrospectively and also portray on the reader the significance of the theme of love in the family context.

Basically, every poem is made to suit the theme that plays a key role. The theme of love is not different as many poets look at this love in a different way. When you consider the structure of the theme in the "Plena Timoris", "poem at thirty-nine, and also "for me from you" has a quite contrasting structure in how the theme is presented. When you take look at "Plena Timoris" the theme of love is explained is the rigid style that gives the poet no room for maneuver. The can feel and hear the love rhyme echo this hence expresses the impact of love in the poem and its specific purpose (Warren, 2012). Form the first stanza the poem accepts the poem accepted the romantic ideal in love. Contrary to st. john the structure just does contrast the subject theme of love with much flexibility and fluidity. Despite there, however, has a contrast in the structure where she is limited to choose between love and accept his proposal. The theme of love in marriage clearly formulate the structure of the poem. Finally, the theme of love structure in the poem "poem of the thirty-nine" presents the reflection the persona life which clearly shows that the structure is freer with no restrictions.
