Introduction

Established businesses in the technology domain such as Facebook, Amazon, and Google are setting the pace in incorporation of AI in their PR and marketing tasks. The billions of dollars and thousands of researchers at these companies' disposal are what give them an upper hand in the AI race. These companies are likely to attract most of the data scientists in the field with only a few talents are left for smaller organizations to hire thereby making it difficult for them to actualize their AI objectives or dreams.

Additionally, there arises the need for a functional analytical infrastructure and skills to effectively adopt machine learning and AI in the corporate tasks. IT leaders are, therefore, prompted to pool substantial data sets from different sources into a unified, accessible and managed data repository to lay down the basis for the design and execution of a company-wide artificial intelligence strategy. Due to the intricate nature of these logistics, PR personnel needs to comprehensively assess the expected outcome of the proposed AI migration to verify whether the returns are worthwhile.

This research, therefore, will determine the current tasks performed by humans as described in the PR profession, the challenges facing PR personnel in effectively carrying out their activities, the capabilities that AI bring into the PR realm and the possible adverse effects on the PR line of work associated with its implementation.

Identifying Research Data

Research data identification has been published on many research computations that have seen increased interest in the last two decades. In spite of many academic fields and the impact-factor of the thesis, this study of computational research reproducibility will have low rates of reproducibility. Some of the relative issues that relate to the availability of data source and code, even if the previous researchers had attempted to reproduce their own published research, need to be identified and established. In this thesis, I will investigate the impact of intelligence and public relations research. The objective of this thesis will not be reproduced experiments, but to investigate and quantify the effects of artificial intelligence on the public relation in UAE.

Proposed Research Hypothesis

This research thesis will be guided by two main hypotheses which will be:

  • H0 Impact of AI on PR research documentation is not good enough to be used on PR results,
  • H1 The practices of AI on PR as well as its documentation has improved in recent years.

Over 390 research papers from two installments of two top AAAI, AI conference series and IJCAI have been surveyed. Thus, my thesis survey will seek to affirm and support the first hypothesis as well as the second hypothesis.

Assessing Datasets

Even though there is widespread use of shared public datasets, code sharing has been lagging back. Thus, assessing and facilitating the sharing of data and code source without disrupting it with regards to its process of peer review will be necessary to improve the situation. Therefore my thesis proposal will be seeking to contribute to the efforts of:

  • Designing a survey for assessment and evaluation of the impact of artificial intelligence on PR as well as its documentation in UAE
  • Provide an assessment and evaluation of a leading conference series AI in UAE, and finally, to offer an incentive suggestion that will facilitate functionality of AI research on PR in UAE.

Research Questions

This thesis research question will be guided by the research objectives as aligned below:

  • Which tasks do PR personnel perform today?
  • Which tasks are going to be affected by the incorporation of artificial intelligence?

There are various shortcomings that this research will confront. Most importantly is the lack of no related knowledge both in performing field research and teaching. Thus, there might be various factors that this proposal may not anticipate for.

Study Limitation

UAE state ought to know about areas of impediments that this research proposal must work under. As it as of now, this proposal is limited to the impact of AI on PR research. Thus, the organization of UAE ought to be aware of conceivable presences of AI on PR and practices involved in the implementation of AI.

Lastly, another impediment might be the manner by which AI impact public relation for UAE states. This research proposal, therefore, endeavors to adjust the style in which the countries are forming UAE perceives the effectiveness as well as the impact of AI on PR.
