Introduction
Inequalities are defined as mathematical statements that described a varied range of values. They are typically identifiable since the following set values represent them; <, , >, or . They are used in mathematical formulas in the solving of problems in everyday life. They are used in the world and everything around us, we only need to know where exactly to look. To make sound decisions and solve problems by using inequalities, we need to understand how to interpret the languages of inequalities because it is an essential step towards understanding how to solve everyday situations and contexts.
In life experiences, finding several feasible solutions to a scenario can be more suitable than only having a single way. Inequalities are a value of a mathematical approach that provides multiple sets of possibilities to slovi9ng a particular problem especially those that have a limitation to them. These inequalities have therefore been used in everyday life situations where people can apply them to find solutions to a relatable situation with a limit. The paper will thus look at the possibilities that inequalities present and how it can be u8sed in decision making in everyday life. (Dantzig, G. 2016).
In everyday life experiences, we are all faced by mathematical inequalities, but most of us do not find them as so because they seem to be very familiar. In almost every day, we encounter speed limits on the roads, credit cards with minimum payments, and situation such as the time one needs to take room work to home. Let's take a practical example like that of speed limits displayed on the highways. You may be required to drive at a speed limit of 6o km/hr. In this situation, it is not necessary that you drive at that set limit of 60km/hr, but other ranges of options are also applicable. Driving at a speed of 54 km/hr would still be okay, 58km/hrs still allowed in that context. The above practical example shows the nature to which inequalities can be used to provide a range of options that can be applied in everyday life. (Vanderbei, R. J. 2015).
Inequalities can, therefore, be used to make sound decisions in life situations by evaluating the context of the situation and seeking to find the range of options to which you can go about the problem. In applying inequalities in real life situations, one has first to change the word problems to inequalities then see the relationship between them and finally pick the choices that can apply or in mathematical terms chose the inequality symbol that is most suitable in the situation. It is necessary to keep in mind that by using inequalities to find solutions, there will be a range of possibilities that will be presented. Through the above analysis, inequalities are very resourceful in providing solutions in real life problems. The range of options and the understanding of the relationship between the quantities in questions make it easy for one to pick the best prospects in the context of the situation.
Conclusions
Inequalities have been widely used to solve mathematical problems. The same way they can be applied to provide a range of solutions to life experiences. Use of inequalities requires that one understand the relationship between the quantities presents and evaluate the range of options and select which of them will be more suitable to the problem. These mathematical formulas are very resourceful in finding solutions to the issues that are designed with limits. They give a better approach and a better way to understand challenging scenarios in life.
