Introduction
The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, was a big blow to the United States of American and also to the public, and it is said that people suffered psychological denial of this sudden unfortunate event. President John .F Kennedy known as JFK was the 35th ruler of the United States who was on the office from January 1961 to the time of his assassination in November 1963. He reigned at the height of the cold war, and this is the time of geopolitical tension between the U.S and its mergers from the Western Bloc after World War II. Most citizens who were on the streets to see the presidential motorcade in Dallas could not believe what they saw on that afternoon. Up to today, different theories explain how JFK was shot on that day. There are several theories of the president shoot out involving the FBI, the Mob, the C.I.A, K.G.B, Castro and Federal Reserve.
The Assassination of John F. Kennedy
Since 1963 when JFK was shot till today, the public still shows their interest in the know exactly who killed him. A commission knows as the Warren Commission was formed to investigate the assassination of the president and in 1964, a year later after this unfortunate death, the commission released a report saying that the president was shot by a single gunman acting at his accord and not on behalf on any rival (Hannah et al .2016). The report noted that the gunman known as Lee Harvey Oswald planned, calculated on the events taking place at Dallas on that day and was able to shoot the president from behind through the window in Texas School Book Depository. Another committee was formed in 1978 to further investigate on the shooting of the president and this committee, The House of Representative select Committee gave reports that Lee Harvey who is claimed to have shot the president was not alone, but there was another gunman shooting on the presidential motorcade making a conclusion that this was a conspiracy. This led to the rise of five-decade top theories on the president JFK assassination in Dallas in November 1963. The ABC News poll shows that 7 % of the people believe that Lee Harvey was never involved in the murder; 51 % of the people think that these gunmen were not acting alone. Lastly, 71% which is the most significant percentage of people believe that this was the result of a conspiracy and not a line killer as the Warren Commission said at the beginning (Nicholas et al. 2018).
A standout principle amongst the most pervasive and evidently conceivable of the paranoid notions around the death of J.F Kennedy was the fact that there was a second shooter and that both he and Oswald were a piece of a more extensive hover of schemers. Regardless of the Warren Commission, which had been set up by new President Lyndon Johnson to explore Kennedy's homicide, expressing in September 1964 that Oswald was a "solitary shooter" and was not part of any residential or worldwide intrigue, this end was not broadly acknowledged until the mid-1970s. A few improvements that provide a reason to feel ambiguous about the solitary shooter proposition incorporate a Senate Select Committee set up to research "Administrative Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities" in 1975. It attested that examinations of the death by both the FBI and CIA had been lacking and that some crucial proof had not been sent to the first Warren Commission. Besides, Abraham Zapruder's presently well known 26-second quiet home motion picture of the killing was likewise discharged to open examination in 1975.
One of these conspiracy theories gives conclusions that the Central Intelligence Agency CIA is involved in the killing of JFK. The Warren Commission reports states that Lee Oswald was an either one of the CIA agents or had an uncertain relationship with the agency. The commission speculates that this gunman had been an employee at any capacity of CIA agency at one time and the Agency together with other parties used him to assassinate the president. Due to the lack of files that show any relationship between the CIA and the gunman Oswald, the House Representative Select Committee said that there is no possibility that Oswald was involved in any way with the Central Intelligence Agency. One of the investigators from House Select Committee on Assassination knew as Gaeton Fonzi said that together with other investigators, they were forced not to check on the information about the relationship between Lee Oswald and the CIA. The investigation reports of Fonzi reported that one of the CIA using pseudonym Maurice Bishop otherwise known as David Atlee Phillips had been in contact with Oswald Before the killing of president JFK and this was also in connection with anti-Castro Cuban groups (Nalli et al. 2018). A former United States Army Intelligence officer together with John M. Newman gave a report saying that the CIA and the FBI interfered with the files containing the data on Lee Oswald before and after the assassination of JFK.
Central Intelligence Agency failed to alert the U.S authorities on the Oswald plan to execute the president in Dallas, and this is clear evidence that they were involved and the finger points to the agency Chief of counter Intelligence called James Angleton. James had direct contact to the authorities, and he did not do anything, but Newman further reports that the whole operation was not under James Angleton but a former CIA director Allen Dulles. Allen was also a member of Warren Commission who conflicted with Kennedy after he dismissed him from the commission due to failure of military invasion known as the Bay of Pigs Invasion. The CIA through Cartha Deloach testimony to the Church Committee said that these were mere speculations.
The FBI is accused of tampering with the files os Oswald after and before the presidential assassination. The FBI denied any allegation that they were involved with Oswalt and till today the agency tries to convince the public that in no way did they have contact with Lee Oswald. When Jack Ruby shot Oswald in the basement of his local night club, the FBI released a report saying that they had alerted the police on the death threats that Oswald received, but this was seen as a way of FBI trying to let themselves off the hook of the accusations of being involved with the assassination. The assassin investigators say that the witnesses were harassed and also received death threats from agencies including the FBI agent. The Jim Marrs book "Crossfire" some statements show that a lot of witnesses including Sandy Speaker, J.Millican and many others could not give their testimonies because the FBI agents intimidated themMcHoskey et al. 2015). This threats and harassment offer speculation that the agency is trying to hide some vital information about the killing which most probably is related to them.
Till today the FBI says that in no way were they involved in the JFK assassination and they release several reports to support this claim. Some of the witnesses like Ed Hoffman received death threats from the agency when they wanted to testify of what they had observed in Dealey Plaza in Dallas on the day of the assassination. One of the many witnesses was harassed by the authority to the extent of losing his job when she said what she had observed that day while working in the Texas School Book Depository and this raised a lot of speculation and questions by the public on the FBI involvement and till today they have no definite answer (Nicole et al., 2016). There are also speculations that the agent confiscated films and photographs about that event and a witness says that two men she sensed were from FBI took the responsibility of developing her movie in ten days, but they never returned.
The Assassination of President Kennedy is seen a massive coup intending to overtake the U.S government, and this is per the latest reports released by Trump. President assassinator Oswald is said to have talked to one of the KGB officers before the assassination. A report shows that the KGB together with the Soviet Intelligent Agency gave orders of collection of all available information about president Lyndon Johnson and months later the KGB releases data indicating that Lyndon is the assassinator of the president JFK (Dahmem et al. 2016). A memo from CIA security headquarters director shows that a KGB officer known as Lesnik lashed out to go to his office to check the Oswald files after receiving the news about ht assassination. Lensik reviewed Oswald file and found that he had not been contacted or approached by Russian Intelligence before returning to the United States and after calling other KGB officers they said they had no idea about this
Several reports show that the Soviet Union might have been in a way involved in JFK assassination because Oswald lived there for some time and even lived married from there. He later moves to the United States of America, and his data in the Soviet Union disappears, and this seems not to add up. A recent report shows that this might be involved with the coup organized to overthrow the U.S government. The Soviet Intelligence together with KGB worked in collaboration in getting the data that was used to accuse President Lyndon on the assassination of the president(Smith et al.2016).
President Lyndon Johnson, the man who would succeed President Kennedy after the assassination told the ABC News that JFK was trying to get Castro, but he got him first. The U.S several attempts to assassinate the Cuban president Fidel Castro failed, and so Fidel Castro decided to repay the United States by killing their president. President Kennedy is reported to have changed his mind on successor and dropped his support from Lyndon. The Kennedy support to Terry Sanford the NC governor enraged Lyndon Johnson to organizing his assassination, but Johnson denied these allegations (Wayne et al. 2016).
Many reports say that the mob leads the assassination of the president because of many reasons one being that they did not like Kennedy's idea of Crusading Attorney General Robert Kennedy who was his younger brother. The second reason is that the mob heavily invested in night clubs and the casinos in Cuba before the Castro revolution period. JFK messed up the military invasion known as the Bay Pig Invasion which cut any possibility of American organized crime returning to Cuba, and this much enraged the Mafia (Belzer et al.2016). Later the assassinator is killed by one of the night club owners who is well known by the Mafia, and this gives space to speculation that the mob was involved in killing Kennedy Other sources reports that the anti-Castro Cubans paid the crowd to kill Kennedy.
The Federal Reserve Conspiracy is another theory used in providing information about the JFK assassination, and the approach explains that President Kennedy was trying to rule the United States using the power of the Federal Reserve. "Crossfire" book by Marrs tells that Kennedy issued Executive order 11110 which was a way of trying to gain control from the Federal Reserve to the U.S Treasury Department by using silver certificates to replace Federal Reserve Notes. The federal is accused of working with power brokers, U.S billionaires, Mafia, and CIA agents in assassinating Kennedy (Nalli et al.2018).
Conclusion
The assassination of President Kennedy has brought up so many conspiracy approaches as discussed above, but non of then gives conclusive evidence of what happened and instead most of them are speculations of what might have happened. Until today the United States government still release reports on the Kennedy Assassination case and the public still waits for the solid conclusion.
