Introduction

As the title of the book suggests, "pride and prejudice" I think that is the main themes of the book. There is a romantic relationship that is ignited between the two-character Elizabeth and Darcy despite other factors like class difference, education, and other circumstance. But the two themes stand out to be the issues Jane Austen was trying to bring out. Elizabeth in the book is shown to be guilty in the aspect of prejudicially when they judge Darcy as prideful. Furthermore, the story turned out to be an improper pride was actually what caused Elizabeth prejudiced. Also, when it is recognized that Darcy had feelings which were above his company, this turns out to make him the noblest character in the book. Darcy is found to not have improper pride. From the aspect of the book, the themes stand out as they dominate most of the book. This is because the book creates conflicts based on the themes which make Elizabeth dislike mostly about Darcy and eventually Darcy's unrequited love he had for Elizabeth. In this essay, I will critically explain how the theme of pride and prejudice are brought out in the book.

In the book 'pride and prejudice" the character Elizabeth first came the realization that she made a judgment error to Darcy after she read his letter that explained about all his thoughts on his family behavior and also his relationship history with Wickham. It's after she read the letter, she realized that she foolishly judged Wickham as the most amiable person she ever met and this was merely because he was very friendly and also a conversational person. Elizabeth also judges

Darcy is a skeptical character who is the reserve, the way he treated her suggests how standoff he was, though at the long run the accusation become false as claimed by Elizabeth. Later on, we find out Elizabeth to narrate the truth which was accurate in accordance with improper judgment and pride fro, Darcy. In this particular judgment case, it's evident that pride stand out especially toward Elizabeth from Darcy and Wickham.

Darcy, on the other hand, expresses a very central point towards the start of the book. In the book he argues that, if you have a very superior mind, your pride will always be regulated. His also points that an individual who genuinely do have a more noteworthy, or in other words more understanding than others and who follow up on standards and ethics while others neglect to do as such should feel honest about having a genuine pride. And the book treats him to be right about his point. (Lau, et al. 2017) Throughout the book the author brings that some people like Mrs. Bennet have limited understanding and sense. Mrs. Bennet wife acts in a very immoral way and imprudently example to the whole bennet household especially to the characters like Wickham and Lydia. The book also states that the book Darcy acts in a more principled way with moral standards as he tries to rescue character like Lydia and also the whole of bennet's household from any form of disgrace. Hence the book shows the superiority of Darcy in the aspect of sense and also morals as compared to other characters in the book. This led to what Elizabeth said toward the end of the book that "indeed Darcy did have any form of improper pride. Hence, we see the act of prejudice in the book.

Conclusion

In conclusion it clear that the book points that the two themes stand out as the main themes. Considering Elizabeth act of pride and Darcy act of prejudice clearly shows Jane Austen showcase the themes. It's important to point out that other themes like the love between Elizabeth and Darcy and also class theme but as the title of the book state prejudice and pride are what resulted to the plot.
