I believe in integrity as one of the virtues that define an individuals wholesomeness regarding morality. I have always been keen to be a lady of integrity and who observes the ethical responsibilities that lay before me. These are some of the traits required in the medical field and have always worked hard to perfect in them. When working as a scribe with some of the doctors, I would complete the documents in an honest manner. I was also frank with the patients, a quality that made them share their medical information, which would later be helpful in the diagnosis. I also observed the two qualities when I was working on my research work at UMD college park.

Having grown in Iran, it was custom for young women to stay at home and be provided for by their parents. I was also engraved in the same tradition, but the situation changed a significant bit after living in the United States from when I was in ninth grade. Since the saddening death of my grandfather who was also my provider, I learned to depend on myself for upkeep and part of my educational needs. I also learned to be a hard worker and a reliable individual, which is a thing that I have perfected to-date as it helps me earn through the different jobs that I do. While working in the hospital settings, I learned to be reliable and self-driven as I could complete my work on time and would be available for work at any time during my shifts.

Over the years, I have developed greater interpersonal relations. I am a social individual and one that a good number of people can easily get along with. It is this trait that has given me the opportunity to work at different places and leaving a record of good conduct. The same characteristic has also helped me to improve my ability of reading and writing better English, through interacting and making friends with different people at schools and my places of work. As anyone can tell, learning a second language always proves to be difficult, especially when there are no close people to learn from, but luckily, my excellent interpersonal skills simplified the process for me. I have also gained greater teamwork skills through the volunteering activity that I engage myself in where we make food and distribute to the homeless as a group. I understand that teamwork is vital in the provision of care, and I am always eager to perfect in it.

Finally, I am also a self-oriented person with high ambitions of fulfilling my dreams and goals. Nothing hinders me from achieving what my heart desires, and I always sacrifice a lot just to meet the yearnings of my heart. I have developed this ability over the ages. In fact, the character is one of the many that have helped me stick to my aspiration of becoming a doctor, and being consistent on working towards that goal. The many difficulties and struggles that I have gone through have not diminished or altered my dream in any form. Through all that I have undergone including working hard to provide for myself, I still managed to merit for academic scholarships and was even able to get a grade point average of 3.7.
