These doctors must have spent long years in their countries studying, then working and getting experience, a dentist for instance coming from a country like Kenya in East Africa, very qualified and experienced will be treated, when she or he gets to Canada as a skilled immigrant he or she will be treated like a fresh graduate.

The long training and experience the doctor has will not be considered at all. This is a frustration to the skilled immigrant (Singh et al., 2017). The immigrant is supposed to undergo through a series of stages which involve training and getting experience again for him or her to be accepted as a doctor in Canada.
