Research assists nurses in identifying efficient good practices and improving quality care. Since data is dynamic and always unfolding, it is really vital for nurses to prepare by BSN are aware of the significance of studies. The results can remedy ancient misconceptions, lay the groundwork for fresh procedures of therapy and generate fresh approaches, which together enhance patient results. Research also enables healthcare to react to fluctuations in the clinical setting, demographics of patients and laws. The technique of healthcare remains to alter as scientists make findings. Learning the data learners can get outdated rapidly, so maintaining up with fresh nursing innovations helps expatriate in the professions.
Research is aimed at generating fresh understanding or validating current understanding depending on a concept. Research surveys require systematic, scientific investigation utilizing disciplined, comprehensive techniques to address particular study queries or test theories. The two primary techniques of research are quantitative and qualitative, even though blended techniques are increasing using both techniques. Quantitative researches strive to investigate interactions between a set of phenomenon-related factors, while qualitative surveys attempt to comprehend the greater significance of the factors concerned. In nursing, all these methods are applied to test and research on new concepts and different ways of offering healthcare services. Other approaches in clinical studies include; meta-analysis, Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), case-control study, cohort study and economic evaluation (Pervaiz et al., 2008).

Evidence Level Description
Level I Proof out of a study or meta-analysis among all appropriate Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) or proof-based instructions for health-care practice centered on a retrospective study of RCTs with comparable outcomes (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2011).
- Level II Scientific proof acquired by at least a single RCT such as a big multi-site RCT well-designed.
- Level III Evidence acquired from well-organized, randomized or a quasi-experimental clinical studies.
- Level IV Scientific proof from event-control or cohort analyses that is well-organized.

In the method of addressing patient issues and decision-making with innovation, critical thinking is implemented by nurses to improve the impact. It is an important method for a secure, effective and competent involvement in nursing. Nurses differentiate allegations supported by facts, findings, assessments, and views in critical thinking. Assessing data accuracy is a significant phase in critical thinking in which the nurse wants to verify this data's precision by reviewing other proof and informants. Written communication has been an integral part of my clinical research.
After research and adoption of new mechanisms of solving patients' issues, the findings are incepted in day-to-day nursing activities. I have implemented the findings to my practices which have helped improve the quality of care given to the patients.
Nursing research priorities are covered in the following three areas: nursing method, nursing, and medical care program, and nursing literacy (Polit & Beck, 2008). The following are the priorities: Native as well as other susceptible and equity-seeking groups, space-to-time chronic condition handling and care distribution, family care and primary health nursing elderly in a variety of care situations, functions, scopes of activity, and quality of RNs and/or NPS for healthcare, home care, patient outcomes, and patient care, as well as results for nursing education.
Major nursing researches rely on a human to provide data. There is therefore various considerations and ethical practices in collecting and securing the data. One of the major ethical requirement is to minimize any risk that may arise with the collection of handling of the data. Client's confidentiality and privacy must be guaranteed at all times. His cultural status should be safeguarded and voluntary consent sought before collecting any data from the client.
