The event I attended was the Fashions Night Out held at 1633 Broadway, New York. The event took place between 6 pm and 9 pm on September 12, 2016. The event mostly comprised of individuals aged 15 years and 50 years who were willing to try out the fashion they believed was ideal for them. Throughout Broadway, people were excited shifting from one part to another, while pushing their ways through the crowds to gain access to clubs, restaurants, and showrooms among others.

The Fashions Night Out night was among the most popular ones I had ever witnessed. It was less about the major idea of bringing spirit, life, and money back to the city and the economy, and revolved more on the flashing light bulbs. The event was a goldmine for men and a once-a-year chance for girls to utilize the evening to look their utmost fabulous. They tried different kinds of outfits while the men stood by to watch.

However, the night also presented other opportunities. While mayhem was taking place outside, I was enjoying myself inside Duane Reade. The retailer was hosting its unique fashion night on Broadway, a few meters away from Lincoln Centers corner, which hosts all kinds of trends for seven days. In the downstairs section, Duane Reade had transformed it into a beauty parlor where women crowded to have their nails done, hairs straightened and curled. A beauty bar was also present and featured Sally Hansen nail strips while at the same allowed women to try out fake eyelashes.

While at the store, my initial stop was the realization of a product that I was not aware it existed, the Hollywood fashion tape. It was something magical. It was a sleeve that you could roll up and ensure it remained intact. I addressed all the issues I had with previous clothing that did not keep me in the shape I wanted. I also came across the refillable tape gun that the other girls introduced me to, which I am obsessed with even today.

The second stop was my nails. After settling on a leopard print for around five minutes, I found myself with an entirely new manicure. The Sally Hansen Effects Nail Strips are applied easily as they are made using nail polish. As such, they come off easily when using nail polish remover. The best part with them is that they last for around ten days while costing one just $10, making them affordable as well as great substitutes to a manicure.

I did not visit the eyelash sector, although before the night was over, I had acquired amazing new nails, a new tape gun, and a variety of other products that I could play with. During that night, the first one hundred people who arrived at Duane Reade were each offered a big gift bag that comprised of fun products. I was not one of the first to arrive, although Duane Reade recognized me, hence offering me a gift bag as well.

Despite all the activities that were taking place all over the city, my mind was focused on reaching home and try all the fun products I had acquired from Duane Reade. I had gained a brand new experience, which made me wish to visit the store again in future to try out other fun products during the next fashion event. I derived optimal satisfaction from the activity.
