Death is the process of ceasing all vital body functions such as breathing, brain activities, and heartbeat. Death is so sudden it can come expectedly or unexpectedly through a medical condition, accidents, or after the diagnosis of terminal illness. At present, there is no precise term that can define human death or a standard of diagnosing clinical death it just appears suddenly. Also, there is a new criterion of death known as the nonfunctioning of the brain or COMA which is so irreversible. In that regard, a life well lived others think it can be measured by retweets, tags, likes, tasks accomplished, friendships, and accolades. By job satisfaction, title or salary but suddenly not those will never be applied as tools for measuring a life well lived. A life well lived is only measured by how many times you gave without reservation, washed dishes you did not use, were supposed to glare but instead you smiled. Also, a life well lived is measured by motivation, action, intention, joy, sacrifice, and love. Living a life which is full of thanks it is not a well-lived life (Niemiec, & Ryan, 2013). Instead of living a thankless life where you do hear things even when are least expected that is what is called a life well lived. In this life much is expected from an individual one can be asked to give more than he| she can handle, a person is stretched more; sometimes he| she can be cracked and brittle.

In that case, a life well lived is knowing how to love the new shape given to you by knowing it is part of life and heal the cracks you have been given. In such life, one should be aware of it and also love cracked people too. Such life can make you hurt others or hurt you as an individual, and that is a life worth living. As growing hurts and so is love, therefore, life worth, a living should grow (Sheldon, 2013). Due to that, as a life worth living is to become the best then it is not measured in human terms, but its very human life. In that connection, one is always required to needed to be himself| herself, be human, heartfelt, and genuine.

In such terms, this question of a well-lived life was once a problem to Ivan Ilych to an extent he wrote a book entitled Tolstoy, The Death of Ivan Ilyich to inspire other people to move towards that life and if possible get salvation. In that case, Ivan Ilyich realized the meaning of life once when death confronted him but where in the real sense behind him before he came face to face with death did not know. In that regard, people admired the novel Tolstoy, The Death of Ivan Ilyich for its powerful and inspiring message it has. In that case, it shows the beginning of the loss of the art of Tolstoy and how he suddenly became interested in teaching moral lessons and went on one dimensional once he lost his writing complexity.

The book conveyed a message to all people that they should know that one time they will die no matter they like it or not. Therefore, they should know what life is and how to live it well before approaching their death and not living arrogantly and ignorantly. Death approaches people in their different ways it might not be the same as the one of Ivan Ilych, but at long last, every will die at his own time. In that connection, individuals might be approached by a drawn-out illness or a freak drapery accident depending on everyones situation, but they are urged on how to live well before their death. To learn on how life is lived is important before everyones life because after a head of you there is great happiness and rewards. Therefore people are urged to be morally upright while they are life for the better future. If everything is pleasant, then it is easy to forget about death even if it sneaks when least expected. In that case, the book of Tolstoy, The Death of Ivan Ilyich shows to us that even if we die we will be alone at that moment and nothing or nobody will accompany you. At the time of Ivan he became ill he found out his friends were more, yet it is known that a friend in trouble is a friend indeed, but for them it was opposite. His family did not care and love him anymore, and he was not able to enjoy any of the things did while he was alive (Rogan, & Sandy, 2015). It was useless to him because nobody or nothing he enjoyed after all that why he insisted that people should always learn on how to live a life worth a living. Some people may think that the medicines of today are better than that of Ivan but they cannot escape mortality in any way and others even die after an extended period of pain and suffering from the disease. Due to that reason, Ivan Ilych saw it better to enlighten people on a live well lived before being approached with mortality. He realized that many of them might not know what death means to an individual; others may start wondering how to find a meaning of living a healthy life and how to live it. Therefore, need to learn on how to live a life that is worth a living and live it to avoid regrets, which are no longer reversible when mortality has approached them like Ivan Ilych.

On the other hand, there is information from the Holy Bible: Ecclesiastes, 1Corinthians 15. That says as Christ was raised from the death so shall we be raised. Paul is speaking to individuals how he lived a worthless life before he received Jesus Christ in his life but later he got saved after meeting him with mortality. He emphasized on how he persecuted the church of Christ, but he did not reap any benefit out of it. He came to realize later on how it is best to live a well-lived life while you are not immortal. The main reason made him say this is to make Christians aware that even them they will be raised from death to be given a crown of a well-lived life or face judgment for their deeds.

Paul insisted on a live well lived because once he was in that situation until he made death that is when he realized he is in the wrong and changed to do good hence lived a good life henceforth. He went further and emphasized on the life after death Christ will raise people to live if they lived well while on earth and destroyed all powers, authorities, and rules and give the kingdom to the Father. Paul insisted on telling people not to have only earthly hopes but heavenly ones, think about what is above believe in Jesus Christ, our Savior for our salvation. Death is the last thing to be destroyed by God after putting all enemies under control. If death was not there, then no reason for people to be baptized because baptismal symbolizes the death and rising again.

Avoid bad friends who may ruin the good habits and reputation because a life well lived is all about healthy habits. In this book of Holy Bible: Ecclesiastes, 1Corinthians 15 we that the human body is symbolized by a seed which has been planted it have to rot and decay before germinating. Also, a human body is referred to the first man to come on earth the one who came from heaven later. We are the first man on, and we will die first before wearing the body of the second man. Therefore as we are Christ, it is our duty to maintain that body for the resurrection by doing good deeds for us to resurrect to the heavenly kingdom. In such terms, through good deeds, our physical bodies will be changed to spiritual ones. As it is the bodies of flesh and blood will not have a part in the kingdom of therefore we need to be modified to fit the kingdom of God and is only done by a well-lived life. In that case, a trumpet will blow, and those who died will be raised and live forever (Sanders, & Peterson, 2015). Death has been swallowed by victory. Therefore, Christians are urged to work hard for the Lord for there is a reward when the time comes.

A life well lived is only measured by how many times you gave without reservation, washed dishes you did not use, were supposed to glare but instead you smiled.
