Introduction
For the past centuries, most nations experienced colonialism by European nations that spread all over the world to different regions. Colonization is when a particular group of individuals overpowers the other in their own land and hence leading to grabbing of their properties and region. In the 17th century, American colonization was done in some regions like North America for different reasons as depicted in the article.
Explain the reason for English colonization
English imperialism is seen across the world through having a strong military, advanced technology, modern trading and companies, trade unions that control almost the whole world, having too much wealth and many more. This has led to being superpower over other nations by having strong military weapons, an establishment in manufacturing sectors, protection of their nations, citizens and its properties leading to dominance since colonial era.
Some English colonists settled in America for the purpose of trade. North America was grabbed by most of these colonies with the aim of trading to residents of America, other colonists also believed that America's land had Gold which was not there. Due to this, colonists grabbed their land and established European companies in America. Also, colonialists settled in America to spread gospel in America like in Maryland, where Catholic was introduced up to date.
Describe the economic systems, social characteristics and political systems of Massachusetts Bay, Virginia and Carolinas.
These are some of the North American regions that experienced colonization in the 17th century. This has led to the establishment of sectors like economy, political and social because European colonists settled in these regions for several reasons. Due to this, most residents of these regions are English settlers from the colonial era. The type of political systems of these regions are so strict to protect residents of these regions, punishments to the offenders are almost exact with those of European nations.
Massachusetts Bay and Virginia are seen to be the most industrialized regions of America. Due to this, economic and social life is high due to the availability of most companies and rich English settlers. Most residents are Catholic due to the influence of white settlers in the colonial era. Also, majority of governing bodies are English people due to ownership of most properties and land of this region. Lastly, most farmers grow cereals as their crops in these regions due to high number of white's settlement.
Explain the major ideas and events that led to the American revolution.
Due to colonization, America was affected both economically, socially and politically. America has reclaimed its purpose through several transitions. First, America formed a strong army that helped America to fight nations that terrorizing America as a nation. European settlers who were arrogant to American residents rebelled and even majority were migrated back to their countries.
Also, America's revolution led America to become a peaceful nation that protects the rights of each American citizen regardless of color, wealth or social class. Therefore, this has led to American government to become dominant over most nations across the world. America since then has highly invested its future in military power, advanced technology, improved economy and good governance.
Describe how each of the following groups was affected by the political or social changes that followed the American revolution (native Americans and African Americans).
America's revolution has led to human equality in American citizens. Every individual is subject to human rights that govern America as a nation. By doing so, most citizens that were treated as slaves, i.e. African Americans were advantaged and had full rights to access public goods to whom they could not access. Also, it led to their settlement and make contributions to government decision making.
Lastly, some of native Americans were disadvantaged since they were migrated back to their home countries. All wealth that they had invested was left for the benefit of America residents. Due to this, it led to the remaining native Americans to behave like and act like a normal American citizen with no advantages over the others. Therefore, the revolution led to a general understanding and building the nation became every American citizen's responsibility.
