The attributes that an electable candidate should possess include the following, honesty, good communication ability, confidence, commitment, inspiration, and creativity. These characteristics play a significant role in attracting voters. A candidate who shows a high level of honesty often attracts the general public attention because she or he presents him or herself as a trustworthy person. While on the hand, an electable candidate should also show a high level of commitment towards the society and the role that he or she seeks to perform. Additionally, an excellent communication skill as a character trait of an electable individual relates to how he or she can communicate fluently to attract attention from the public.
