Introduction

People learned long since the beginning of Kodachrome, those drawings extracted from rapid series of an unfixed object can produce a mirage of a motile picture by flipping through in succession. People have used animation for many years. Cartoons and movies in the 1900's were done in black and white. Cartoon's drawings had simple backgrounds. The technology of animation has meandered. Traditionally, pictures were done by use of hands. Modification of tools has been done productively. The graphic portrayal of photographs to portray motion within views is known as animation. Drawings are photographed by a camera and then linked together. There has been a slight change in drawings. Frames have been individualized so they appear to show absolute motion within the pictures when they are conveyed in quick succession.

Early animations started appearing before 1910 (Hoffer & Tom 23). They contained drawings that are not complicated which were snapped in a prearranged manner. There were hundreds of pictures per minute of the film. Thus they were extremely labor intensive. Early artisans used an animation skill known as stop action. Items would be reorganized, detached or attached when the cameras stopped. The director would then start rolling the cameras again. Trick plays a thriving action film that uses this strategy. The smooth animation is more efficient in making animated films than dimensional films thus American studios soon turned to smooth animation. For example, Picture Gumby is dimensional character contrary to Tweety Bird which is a sketch (McCall & Douglas 20).

The animation was made simple to direct by the evolution of celluloid throughout 1913. A background that is complicated and characters who are in motion are squashed in between many other chunks of celluloid instead of numerous drawings. The drawings are translucent apart from where illustrations are portrayed on it. Pictures were thus not necessary to reportedly draw the background since they remain steady and only characters are in motion. A mirage of deepness was created, mainly if there was placing of frames in the foreground element. Emile Cohl and Winsor McCay created animated cartoons in 1910. During the next twenty years, the animation timeline started progressing with several films being produced. Winsor McCay produced Gertie the Dinosaur which is a landmark during this period was distributed in 1914 to commercial movie theaters.

Cartoon techniques were developed in the 1920s and 1930s by Warners, MGM, and Disney studios (Forgacs & David 361). They produced many cartoons that were sophisticated which used animation techniques that are complex. Celluloid is a transparent film which imposes figures that are in motion. In 1928, the animation was taken to another level by Walt Disney by using sound. In 1937, films like Snow White and Seven Dwarfs which were the first animated films that were full were produced. Movies that are animated have become a way of entertainment since the release of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs (England, Elizabeth, Descartes & Collier-Meek 555). Films such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King, were produced and distributed by Disney (Tanner & Renee et al. 355).

Processes that were traditionally used to create films wasted a lot of time and were labor intensive. Extreme time and incredible organization and concentration to details are required when using cel animation. Today, production of animated films is more efficient, and computer technology that is advanced is being depended on. Remarkable animated films would not have been possible if it were not for computer technique. The computer technology is not new itself. Movies that were done by Disney which would not be possible without computer technology are Toy Story, Madagascar and Finding Nemo (Yoon, Hyejin & Malecki 239). Small videos in the past were tough to produce, but it has become easy to assemble due to computerization.

An animation shows how it has significantly improved through evolution. The industry has grown. The animated film industry was changed by computer animation. Math formulas are more used in animation today than the ability to draw. General motors' created computer animation about 40 years ago. A system known as DAC was built by General Motors. 3D models of their car could be looked at from all perspectives. Films are compatible with PIXAR, and they go through four stages (Mullen, Cathy & Rahn 20). The animation is done effectively today. It is a process with several steps that are complete. The measures include, the idea of the development of the film, the storyline in which pre-production is done is created, and technical problems are done in this process. Production and making of the film come next, and polishing is done.

Animated films are today three dimensional. 3D movies give the impression that the film is realistic. Animated films have become interesting. There is no trick photography involved in when sledgehammer comes down on Sylvester the Cat's big toe, and it has grown to the size of a watermelon. The stories are simple but very beautiful. When compared with the past, today's films are of high quality and very distinct. Nowadays, seamless movements within the layout appear when played in succession. Animation process has evolved when the old methods of animation are compared to the new techniques. Animation has become better and better. New movies like; How to train a dragon, Toy Story 3, Shrek the Final Chapter and many more shows that animation has become better (Parent & Rick 48).

Web series is the most watched form of entertainment today. Game of Thrones, Jessica Jones and Queer eyes are examples of live-action series (Frankel & Estelle 20). Most people are interested in animated series like Happy Tree Friends; Eddsworld and salad fingers. The animation story is fascinating. Series of images came from carved in stones to cutting edge. A delivery that was mind-blowing was A mind-blowing experienced. The viewer of animations is taken to another world. Several emotions were provoked within a second. An animation is inherently beautiful, and it lures all types of audiences in every period thus it is unstoppable.

An animation is known as shadowgraphy in the 18th century, where people told stories by using hand drawn shadows.

A wrestling image from an Egyptian mural, wrestling matches are showcased.-people realized illusions of a motion picture could be created by a moving object by flipping through in succession.
