Introduction

Heart failure can be described as a clinical syndrome which occurs when the heart fails to pump sufficient blood, which is required to meet all the metabolic practices or conduct the systemic venous return. This is a condition that is very common to most of the residents in the United States of America. It is an expensive condition that results in the patient's spending. Heart failure is caused by the injuries to the myocardium, which is caused by various factors such as ischemic heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension (S, 2004, p. 90). Other causes or rather the etiologies that are a less common cause of heart failure are infections and the cardiotoxic drugs. Failure of the heart functioning results in the developments of various symptoms such as the dyspnea which is as a result of the congestion in the pulmonary. Peripheral edema is another common condition or symptom experienced which occurs from the impaired venous return. Other most common symptoms related to the failure of the functioning of the heart include the lack of appetite, fatigue as well as nausea. The subsequent paragraphs of this essay will describe the description of the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disorders, including how the factor you selected might impact the pathophysiology. The paper will then, explain how hypertension or dyslipidemia can lead to the alteration selected for certain patients with the factor identified.

Atherosclerosis has been so far identified to be the major cause that leads to cardiovascular diseases. Atherosclerosis is a condition that is caused by hypertension and massive or rather the intensive smoking of cigarettes by the patients (Jaracz, 2017, p. 36). The two etiologies of the atherosclerosis are known to converge together at one point behind various convergence mechanisms that are known to cause oxidation as well as inflammation in the walls of the arteries. The inflammation and the oxidation within the arteries build up with time to form fatty, fibrous lesions, which leads to physical trauma. The trauma experienced and the inflammation may lead to the rapturing of the lesions. The rapture of the lesions within the arteries may lead to other serious medical conditions such as stroke, heart attack, or even the plaque growth. Other early indicators of the heart attack disease CD40 inflammatory marker. The common failure of the heart attack is coronary atherosclerosis.

Hypertension can easily lead to heart failure or rather an atherosclerosis. This is because plaque builds up within the arteries leading to the blockages within the arteries. The condition causes to the adoption of artery disease because increased pressure of blood exerts force and pressure on the artery walls (BALENTINE, 2004, p. 45). The pressure is bound to damage the arteries over time, making them vulnerable to atherosclerosis. When the arteries become narrow, the blood flow to the heart is limited. Hence, oxygen supply to the heart is deprived. Persistence of the process might result in a condition called angina, which is characterized by acute chest pains by the patients, especially when they tend to exert themselves or lift heavy weights. An artery that is considered to be rigid or hardened leads to the formation of quite small blood clots, which are well known to be the main cause of heart attacks and stroke among the diagnosed patients. In the final analysis, atherosclerosis is a condition that is well known to be caused by hypertension in most cases that have been diagnosed so far.
