Daily hassles are small stressful occasions that can occur in a day. As everyday troubles arise all the time, they interfere with the stress levels in people more than life proceedings. Stress is a kind of psychological suffering (Hewitt Caelian Chen & Flett, 2014). Small stress can be healthy, desired, and even beneficial. Positive stress assists enhance general performance and play a key role in reaction, motivation, and adaptation to the environment (Hewitt Caelian Chen & Flett, 2014). However, massive stress can result in bodily harm; it can increase the risk of ulcers, heart attacks, strokes, and mental illness like depression (Krauss, 2017). Stress can be exterior and linked to the surrounding but can also occur as a result of the internal perception that can make a person to experience anxiety or other negative feelings about a particular condition. Usually, stress happens when an individual does not believe that the materials for addressing obstacles are sufficient for what situation demand (Krauss, 2017). The main aim of this essay is to discuss my stress basing on Stress Hassles Scale.

According to the stress hassles scale, my stress is 34, which is above the average stress from minor frustrating daily events of life. The stress is triggered due to losing work tools which are critical in daily activities, especially in looking for basic needs. The health of a family member is also a contributing factor to stress. High medical bills are involved, and his health is also deteriorating, which adds me another responsibility of taking care of him with fewer resources. My past decisions to address various issues are not pleasing, since the progress in getting worse daily with less money for personal healthcare and housing. All these incidences have resulted in negative perception about the future life, and these can contribute to stress-related illness.

What is missing is the strategies that best fit my living environment. This may occur due to the inability to manage daily hassles such as everyday demands which result in frustration, annoyance, and agitation. The ability to perform each task at a time is also an issue resulting in stress. Too many works that are supposed to be done at a given time with fewer resources. These circumstances make one to face the task with negative emotions which cannot encourage pleasant outcome - the absence of healthy decisions currently and in the past, which has deteriorated the effective implementation of plans.

From the above information, it is evident that stress is continuing to grow over and aver due to the negative impacts experienced. This depicts that I have not been in a position to manage the daily activities, which in turn helps in managing stress. The information also shows that I am much concerned about family welfare, although I am not capable of incorporating limited resources in the plans to ensure general prosperity. This result in ignorance of some responsibilities which are then contributing to a stressful life.

In conclusion, Daily hassles are small stressful occasions that can occur in a day. As daily hassles arise all the time, they impact the stress levels in people more than life proceedings. It is evident that stress is psychological suffering and happens when an individual does not believe that the materials for addressing obstacles are sufficient for what situation demand. Stress hassles scale has categorized my stress as above the average, a situation which can result to stress related illness.
