The community believes that the main reason for this is because the street children normally roam in dark parts of the town at night (Mrazek & Kempe, 2014). However, this research focuses invalidating such arguments and finding out other reasons which could be resulting to the recent increase in the number of such cases so that a legal action can be taken (James, & Prout, 2015).

The research will target to find solutions that will reduce the number of street children who are sexual abuse by the community. For instance, forming a solutions to minimize the number of children getting into street life, finding the best solutions to minimize the assault from the community, and finding ways of reducing the number of children who are already living street life (James, & Prout, 2015). The main objective is to ensure that there is a significant reduction of cases of street children assaults and that their social, economic, emotional and psychological well-being is catered for (Mrazek, & Kempe, 2014).

Research Design and Methods

Descriptive and correlational research designs will be used whereby the street children will be observed in their naturalistic environment in order to find out the likely factors that lead to their subjection to sexual assault by the community. This will involve observing a certain group of street children for a given period in order to obtain comprehensive information about their living conditions, their mode of socialization, the type of security they have during daytime and at night, and other factors (James & Prout, 2015). Data collection can be done through use interviewing some of the street children, community health personnel, and the community, taking photographs and videos of the street children observing them and taking notes on the findings (Mrazek & Kempe, 2014). Data analysis and interpretation will be done through computer and professional group discussions respectively so as to find a strong argument power when presenting the proposal to the legislative process (James, & Prout, 2015).

Significance/Career Goals

This research is important to a person who is about health care to advocate for the rights of those street children through presenting a protective a bill to the legislation which can be passed into law to ensure that the street children's rights are respected (Mrazek & Kempe, 2014). It will also enable me to advocate for other rights of such children to enable them to get access to education and home care so as to reduce their number in the streets. This research is important to the community because it will enable it to take part in caring for the street children and report any cases of assaults for legal action to be taken in order to minimize such cases (Meinck, et al., 2015). Normally, it is the right of every individual to access and live in a safe environment. Therefore, it effective to establish a system which will focus on improving their living conditions.

Additionally, improving the standard of these children will give them more advantages, such as attending school. Education is an essential aspect which plays an important role in the improvement of life. Therefore, if these children can be given a chance to attend school, some of the major challenges they are facing can be encountered.

After the problem has been identified, the best way to protect these children is by establishing a law. Law is a universal principle which protects all individuals and natural materials from any abuse. There are several processes which an idea must undergo to become a law (Meinck et al. 2015). At first, the idea will be draft in a written form so as it can be presented in parliament. The introduction gives parliaments a chance to review and vote based on their perception (Mrazek & Kempe, 2014). If the largest percentage of members vote for the bill, it will then be taken to The Senate where it will undergo the same process. If senators agree and vote for the bill, the bill will be made a law.

Timeline and Budget

The research will take three months to collects information, analyze, interpret, and come up with a report in the findings. The research will require at least $500 for transportation, video, and photograph taking, the welfare of the researchers, data analysis and interpretation among other expenses to be incurred during the research process (Mrazek, & Kempe, 2014).
