Introduction

Since the establishment of the law of evidence, fairness in legislation has not been prevailing in accordance despite the legal process followed in administering justice. Sometimes people win the case they were no to win just because of the rules of evidence. The judges in courts at some point find it difficult to rule instances that do not have concrete evidence leading to the dismissal of the case even though maybe the complainant may be honest. When the judges are to give a verdict on the case posed in the court, the quantum of evidence considered hence highly playing a vital part in the ruling process (Graham, 2016).

Need to find out how the rule of evidence is affecting justice in the legislation is very important since it affects many individuals. Therefore, methods should be established to help in digging deep into the problem of the effects of the law of evidence on justice in courts as far as legislation is concerned (Graham, 2016). Among the methods, therefore, is observation, interviewing the victims who have lost and also who have won the cases in courts and not forgetting the judges too, distribution of questionnaires to relevant people to obtain their views on the topic.

The use of these methods will significantly aid in collecting required information which will be analyzed to come up with valid results. After the analysis and coming up of the results, the judiciary will be able to understand how the rule of evidence is significantly affecting individuals in a different way. If much consideration will emerge, then the need to regulate and reframe the law of evidence would take place to ensure that justice prevails in legislation all over the world.

The Impact of Rehabilitation Centres in Legislation

When a person is found to be a criminal of a particular crime after the legal process of evaluation, a person is subjected to punishment and rehabilitation. The penalty may include fines and imprisonment. Apart from sentence, a criminal should go through a vital process of recovery. Rehabilitation plays an integral role in the life of a criminal (Pollock, 2019). It tries to bring back the criminal to the right track that is expected by the community. In rehabilitation, many activities are done to ensure when the criminal joins the society again, he or she can associate and meet the required standards of the community (Pollock, 2019). Advice and thorough counselling are done to the victim to give hope of rejuvenating and being a significant person to the society and the world as a whole.

To ensure that the impacts of rehabilitation are well gotten, several methods are to be used to achieve the best results. Among the means to be implemented is an interview to victims, officers in rehabilitation centres and the general public, observation and use of a questionnaire. If these methods are used, the information will be availed for analysis. Analysis and evaluation should be thoroughly conducted to obtain best results. After evaluation and analysis, if the need arises, consideration would be channeled to rehabilitation. More rehabilitation centres and rehabilitation officers may be employed to ensure the moral welfare of criminals is attained. The society needs productive people. For a community to develop, individuals should be productive. Rehabilitation centres should even go further and implement training courses for the goodness of the criminals so that when they unite other people, they have something to give out that is in production leading to development and expansion of the economy (Pollock, 2019).
