Introduction

Devotion habit is the act of abiding in Christ, walking in the spirits meditating on God's word and praying without failing throughout a person's life. The religious habit separates the individual from the world, enunciates their flesh and makes them obedient to the Gods' will since they can understand it. When speaking about the word of God, it is supposed to mean the same in all individuals of a particular language group. Devotion is a term in Christianity and among the Muslims which means that people should obediently submit to God. Commitment can also be termed as the personal investment where one invests their time, feeling, substance and energy to worship the Lord. For people to become devoted they have to get rid of the lies which exist in the society such as life is busy to become dedicated to God and the misconception that it is only Christians who should be devoted the supernatural being (Tozer, 2013). The scripture in the book of Psalms 1:3 states that the people who usually pay attention to God's word are like the tree which is planted by the streams of water which produces its fruits throughout the season and its leaves do not wither. The devotion life is vital to the persons' life since it makes them strong and not to become swayed by the challenges which they encounter in their daily life.

Concepts Regarding Tozer Theology-On Gospel of Transaction

The perverted beliefs concerning God make the religion to rot in places where they occur. For example, the history of churches in Israel and the long career among its citizens proves this rot which appears in the religion. Therefore, this seems to become a lofty concept among the church and it always makes the church together with its worship to and the ethical standards to decline. So whenever the Christian church undergoes through an eclipse, the underlying theology of the church has to become corrupted. The masses from the church might believe that God is usually different from His usual being making it become a deadly kindly of perception. Therefore, the responsibility which lies upon the churches currently is the act of purifying and elevating their concept on God until it becomes worthy of Him. It will be necessary for the Christians to tire so that they can pass the vital idea of God to the next generation as they had received from their Christian fathers and Hebrews who existed in the past age (Goll, 2018). This action will make the future generation to view God in a more significant concept and perception thus appreciating His works to the society.

The Difference Between Praise and Knowledge

Praising means the complimenting God for his virtues and who he indeed is. People praise God as they acknowledge His works, benefits, perfections, and excellence. Further, Christians praise God for what He has done to them, His attribute and distinction. People use different ways of worshiping God such as saying hymns, prayer and telling hymns and singing songs since it emanates from the insight of who God is (Tozer, 2013). Therefore, learning on different ways of praising God activates the blessing and fullness which He has for them.

On the other hand, thanksgiving refers to giving thanks or thanking God for what He has done into a person's life and who He is. A Christian thanks God for the particular blessings and gifts He has bestowed in their life. People might be thankful to God for providing them with shelter, food, a good job, their experience and everything else. The gratitude a person has inside them is the core for being thankful to God (Tozer, 2013). People thank the Lord through tithe, offering, helping the needy in the society and through prayers.

Reflection on a T&T=Awareness, Travailing, Thanksgiving, and Rejoice

T&T help people to learn and have a close understanding of who God is and how one can praise and thank Him. The awareness created in the T&T programs helps an individual to know the method used in praising God and how one can appreciate the Lord for who He is and what He has done in their life. Kids are taught the difference between worship, praise, and thanksgiving. Since the prayer of travail is the desire of God to develop and create an opening in their life thus promoting growth. Therefore, if the opportunity was set to be in place, there is no need for the prayer of travail. Through the T&T the person is taught on the importance of worship since it helps in relieving pain which one was encountering in their lives. With T&T the group supports a person in getting an opening for their survival, change, growth or newness (Goll, 2018). After a way has been opened the person tends to rejoice for the change which has occurred in their lives thus making T&T beneficial to them. Through rejoicing to the Lord, people are thankful to God since they provide an offering, tithes and help the needy who are in society.
