Athletic training is an activity that is aimed at preventing, alleviating injuries and also optimizing performance. Athletics is neatly intertwined with human culture since time immemorial. For example, one of the most ancient athletic activity was done during the Greek Olympics. This activity brought together Greeks from various parts of Greece who then interacted as they watched the sporting activity. In the modern world, athletic training has been a done in various parts of the globe, and there is still a huge role to be played by this activity in future since its becoming popular across the globe. Athletic training has been responsible for shaping good human culture in the world for a long time now.

Athletic training has been used as a tool to improve community interactions. Just like any other sporting activity, people normally converge to for athletic training. People are social beings by nature; Athletic Training brings together people from the various culture in a community. This sets a good medium through which people share a common goal. They interact together thus building the culture of good blood be the among people in society. People get to develop good communication skills. In a learning set up, for example, students get to know one another during athletic training. This encourages the formation of ties and good relationships between students, who thus lead a happier life in school. Athletic training also helps to boost good self-image, People who engage in the activity normally have the aim of preventing injury, alleviating pain, correcting impairment and improving performance during sports mainly athletics (Caswell et al. 211). Some organizations such as 352walls normally conduct athletic training activities which are instrumental in developing good human interactions among the residents of Gainesville. For example, Wall Walks organized by the program help to bring together various people who participate in the activity (http://www.352walls.org). This helps to develop good attitudes towards life hence improving the quality of human life which always the ultimate goal of philosophy.

Ethics is often promoted during athletic training. Normally the certified athletic trainers make moral decisions based on ethical grounding. The National Athletic Training Association for example normally stipulate the various ethical principles that must be observed during the activity. For example, the code of ethics specifies that member must always respect the rights, the welfare and uphold the dignity of other people. Members should also avoid engaging in activities that might lead to the conflict of interest. Athletic training thus encourages a peaceful coexistence between people. This activity discourages vices that might arise due to a breach of ethical issues. During sporting activities where there are bound to be conflicts arising due to two competing parties, the athletic trainers play an important role in averting such occurrences (Popp, Jennifer & David, 125). This highlights the importance of athletic training in human interactions during sports. Philosophy argues that humans cannot coexist in harmony when ethical issues are not respected. One of the very aims of athletic training as to encourage ethical virtues in the society.

The development of knowledge has also been attributed to athletic training activities. The athletic trainer, for example, should possess various skills that are critical for human interactions during sporting activities. Since athletic training was recognized it the US, it has been steadily developing into a full professional field that involves healthcare professionals, doctors, and athletic trainers. These collaborate since athletic training is complex and requires constant medical attention from the physicians (Prentice, William, & Arnheim 5). The evolution of athletic training has also seen many colleges and universities in the United States offering various majors linked to athletics. This has created qualified athletic trainers who possess critical skills for training. These skills include social perceptiveness, active learning, first aid administration, judgment and decision making and also critical thinking. Philosophy considers wisdom as the human ability to use knowledge through thinking and applying it to solve human problems. It also involves the use of insight, common sense and experience to solve human-related challenges. Athletic training is coupled with various scenarios which demand the use of common sense, critical thinking, and experience. This activity thus promotes the human interaction in learning and training institutions and helps in putting knowledge into practical use.
