Walter White is the husband of Skyler White, and the father of Holy and Walter Jr. Walter White is the main antagonist upon whose life the plot is developed. By examining the character Of Walter White in the series "Breaking Bad," this paper explain how Walter's character development contributed in developing that plot and theme of money, power, and politics.

Walter White is flexible and can change career very fast as situation demand. For example, at the Beginning of the series, he is a high school chemistry teacher who also doubles as a car washer in the local car garage. However, when he learned about his health status, Walter had to change career to extremely risk of permanent producers and dealer. He is caring and only decides to cook crystal meth because he wanted to make as much money as possible to guarantee his family a house and decent lifestyles.

He is also caring for his son and daughter as he is seen doing odd jobs to please them and make their future work living. For example, when White Jr the 17 dear old sons of Walter White and Skyler White was mocked by his J. P. Wynne High School mates at the stores, he walked back onto the sore and kicked on the bullies behind the knees to prove his love for his family. Walter White is concerned about his son's progress and take time to teach him how to survive. For example, he teaches his son to be strong, and that translates introduction: mental strength that Walter White Jr demonstrates whenever the mother was moody and angry at the father.

Walter White is also observant as he tries to hide his health status from the family because he knew that if he told them about his terminal cancer state, the family would be scared. He chose to leave the son to face life by pursuing the meth business. He knew that it was better for him to be considered an absentee father than die of regret knowing that he did not leave anything for the family;'s upkeep. When Walter when Jr was concerned about his mother's domineering attitude and his father's absentee nature, eh went and talked to him further developing the bond between the two.

He is bright, and intelligentsia and this is also evidenced in his son's behaves. For example, Walter Jr is intelligent base don the way he handles his father's unbecoming behaviors. He never confronted him directly but seeks help for him. Even though he has speech difficulty, it is not easy to note that he has cerebral palsy if one does not realize his impaired motor control. His intelligence makes up for his impaired motor control as he first designed the website that solicited for the donation to help his father. He mainly contacted his uncle Hunk to help convince his father to go for chemotherapy. He is also an alcoholic despite being undercharged. His has a confidante uncle who calls whenever he is in distress such as the time he was caught buying alcohol. He sided with his father when they separated with his mother because he understood the mother's overbearing and insecure behavior. He learned to drive first for a person with cerebral palsy.

Walter White is focused and analytical in his approach to the situation. He follows a pragmatic approach in every situation that he faced. For example, when skylark white started becoming insecure thinking that Walter is either cheating on her or doing something irresponsible, he kept his cool and never argued back, or busted out. He was focused don stashing money for the family. His thoughtful nature often took the better part of him as he was often lost in reverie trying to imagine how much his family will need for school, housing, food, and clothing. Even though his wife was controlling, he never fought back or argues but innocently and intentionally decided to rebel against the woman control. For example, when Skyler tried to manipulate facts and situation to suit her her needs, he refused politely by failing to go for chemotherapies or to accept the for a job Skyler got him Elliott Schwartz's company.

Walter is the stereotype of the aloof genius. In his relationship with Jesse Pinkman, Skinny Pete, and Badger, he was a reserved and never showed any emotion. He never fought any of them and often referred to himself as the one who knocks. Even though his wife was scared for his life, he never feared because his wife only thought of him as the nice, simple and docile Walter whites sees in the house. He never shouted or fought Jesse Pinkman despite his fault and neither did not face off with any of the drug kingpins. His mysterious is his dealing and everyone thought of him as a dangerous person, so they overlooked him without knowing he was. His prowess in the street was not known back at home, and in most cases, the drug kingpin referred to him as the genius who knows how to make quality meth.

Conclusion

Walter white's character was used to developed the plot, and the setting of the play develops the character giving him the character of a reserved genius who mysteriously operated a drug cartel right under their nose. At the end of the first season, even his kin did not know.
