Changes in Brooklyn community over the last decade

In the recent years, there has been an increase in the income of the members of the community members, leading to improvement in public education, housing affordability and the green energy. Comparing the Brooklyn of today and the past decade Brooklyn, members of the community were not able to afford many of the mentioned above due to low income. The increase in the income has also led to the improving of housing which the district managers have made effective. They ensure that housing has a set standards and the community as a whole reaches that target (Hochberg, Rosenberg etal, 2015).

Nowadays the water being provided to the community is highly tested before being pumped. The state government ensures that all the outlets have been tested to avoid hiding of dangerous levels of metal in the water. The community changed its protocol of testing the water with the help of experts. This helped in provision of water free of metal deposits to the public schools, hospitals and members of the community. Over a decade before the expert analysis on the water issue, members of the community used to consume water that had metal deposits in it. The district manager and the board have made it possible by ensuring all the water is well tested and hiring more experts to conduct the exercise (Agee & Lethem, 2009).

There is an increase in population with an estimated difference of 250,000 people between the year 2008 and this year leading to shortage of accommodation facilities in the cities and rural areas. This increase has resulted in the increase in demand for accommodation in the Kings County in Brooklyn. In addition, health facilities have been increased to cater for the increasing population. The district manager and the county board has hired more medical officers to serve the people.

There has been increased settlement of people as opposed to a time before the start of the second decade of this 21st century. Increased settlement has attracted immigrants from the neighborhood communities into the kings county hence increasing the value of the streets of the city. The demographic changes has made Kings County in Brooklyn to be just like The New York. The streets of the kings county community have gained value thereby attracted investors who have made the community more developed and admirable. Human service agencies and the district manager have in turn made strategies to prioritize emerging job opportunities for residents due to increased number of immigrants (Hochberg, Rosenberg etal, 2015).

There is high income generating activities which has led to the growth of banking sectors. Initially there were very few banks in the community since per capita income was low and people had nothing to save from their small non profitable businesses. The community has responded to the increased per capita income by encouraging people to invest in real estates in order to curb the housing problem.

Over the recent past, talent shows have been introduced enabling young people to get income by use of their talents. The community has embraced new talents by offering trophies to participants and winners of talent shows. The social activities that happen during talent have enhanced good interpersonal relationship between community members hence enhancing peace. This has made the district manager to include talent shows budget in the countys monetary systems (Agee & Lethem, 2009).

There is extensive development in transport sector whereby subway lines are constantly being constructed in areas that were poorly served by subway services such flatlands and marine park. In the last decade, Brooklyn was served by increased street cars which were leading to traffic congestion that is now replaced by public bus services (Agee & Lethem, 2009). The district manager of the community board and the Human service agency administrator reinforced the introduction of subways to ease traffic congestion and pollution effects of motor vehicles in towns.

Previously, there was high number of high school students drop outs which is now becoming overshadowed by increased numbers of students completing their high school course and enrolling to higher education institutions. Similarly, there is increased number of people attending higher learning institutions within the Kings County, neighborhood counties and more others meeting international standards for studying in international universities. In order to solve the problem of congestion in public universities and grade schools, the district manager initiated coming up of new learning institutions to cover up emerging education problems (Agee & Lethem, 2009).

Conclusion

In conclusion, there has been a notable good change in Brooklyn communing right away from education, housing facilities, transport network, water facilities, banking, per capita income and much more. The life of the Brooklyn people has multicultural competence.
