The definition of Communication is the action passing on information or intended meaning from one party, group of people or entity via signs or semiotic guidelines to another. Language is one of the most important aspects of communication, and it can be expressed either verbally or through non-verbal language communication. Language as an aspect of communication can be non-verbal through body language and verbal through speech words that make up language such as narratives to transmit intended meanings to an audience. In this essay, I will critically examine why language as an aspect of communication is imperative in successful communication and as the basis of the narrative should be nurtured in people from a young age all through to maturity. Language and stories are inseparable because language is the delivery tool for narratives' and communication is at the central point of linking how effective communication becomes. Communication through Speech or language is a unique characteristic only shared by humanity and such is crucial to the achievement of any form of relationship or growth in society. Phillip Lieberman, a renowned evolution scientist states in his Eve that man's possession of the ability to communicate through speech and language is virtually the sole reason why we are more intelligent than other species, and it's our unique gift which separates us from other animals and makes us superior.

Language equates to our intelligence levels, and society and linguistic professionals should pursue any forms advancement and improved development of language. The gift of language and how well it is becomes a determining factor of whether or not we become successful not only in social aspects but also in the economic aspect.

Various Language evolution theories try to offer explanations regarding the origin of speech without clarity. The most widely accepted theories are the biblical language theory that states that in the beginning there was the word and through the word everything else came to be. Language not only helps create power but according to this theory it is the only reason why God feels threatens after the flood and through his power decides to make it multi-lingual. This event shows how powerful language is and why nurturing from a small age is essential. In comparison, societies, and civilizations that have existed in the world that had advanced their levels of communication and language tremendously improved in other aspects of life and science. Human language is a complex phenomenon which is vital in the transformation and desires of man and society.

Use of language to communicate commonly referred to as oral communication is necessary and the characteristic of double articulation and syntax make the interface of language a property that only human beings possess. The voice box, only owned by humanity grows gradually from birth to maturity. In men, it's the biological explanation of breaking sound. By using these developments of voice, people communicate with each to develop a cultural meaning and values. For example, the dominance and influence of the English language because it has the medium of advocacy used by the Westernizers who has structured their language to be easily learned and effectively pass on messages to other people. The close relationship shared by language and the cultural phenomenon enhance the appreciation of the communities' culture and beliefs. In fact, language forms the basis of oral narratives that essential in nurturing responsible members of the community.

Narratives are stories composed and transmitted verbally from one person to another and carry a moral teaching. Narratives are transmittable in the presence of language, and language can only connect the inextricable relationship that exists between the two. It is true that communication through the narratives to young developing mind significantly determine how they live their entire life later and in future shapes the direction that thoughts and mental activity takes. Language construct narratives that create ideologies. For instance, many doctrines of life are supported by stories and presented as narratives themselves (Benjamin Whorf 47).

Human language and communication also share various unique properties which include the character of direction, duality, productiveness and capacity to displace all of which add up culminate to their ability to transform. As such communication of language should be harnessed and improved from a young age and one gradually matures they perfect the art to becoming better and improved societies. For example, this argument presented by structural linguistics who state that social structural units and rules are a generation of the human mind affected by narratives that have nourished the mind over time which in turn produces the world which we desire.

In conclusion, this paper explores language and communication and tries to link them to narratives and the significant role that they play in one's life and society in general. Language is the central key that holds together a society and in many perspectives represent just how strong or united a nation will be some historian and linguistics agree that communication, especially among humans, centered on language and the narratives that they share from a young age up to maturity. Excellent communication and mastery of language are crucial in expanding the mental capacity of a human being and his ability to adapt, survive and progress.
