After studies were conducted by the government, it was evident that many children were watching pornographic contents, which are against the law of UAE. In that light, to prevent such action from spreading, the government has to enhance strict measures to any person who is found watching such content on the internet. The ADJD has also warned that the UAE local authorities are monitoring internet users who may visit those websites and document the time and the date of their visit.

The number of the user visiting pornographic sites had increased based on the reports that were conducted by the police. It was evident that such material would affect the children negatively and the government had to intervene. With the increased level of technology, people could easily access those sites. For instances, many people were believed to watch those harmful content through their phones. To prevent such actions from spreading and disrupting the culture of the people, the UAE officials enacted measures to ensure that children are protected from those issues (Terterov, 2012). However, according to recent reports, it is evident that more people are still visiting those sites and watching pornographic materials. In that light, UAE needs to enforce more measures for the internet for offensive content.

Based on the reports, it is believed that most of the people who are visiting these sites are foreigners. This is because the government has not enacted strict policies regarding foreigners who visit such sites (Allison, 2010). Many people argue that such content must be made legal for people under the age of 21 since they can make a rational decision. However, the UAE officials are determined to protect their culture and their religion. In that light, the government must pass laws that would also prevent a foreigner from accessing offensive internet sites. Such measures could include deporting any person who is found accessing those sites which are banned by the government. Through such measures, it would prevent a foreigner from bringing their culture to the country.

Psychologists have explained that the common reason as to why most children do no perform as expected is due to such offensive content from the internet. They might find it difficult for them to concentrate in class after watching certain content on the internet. In some cases, such children may take a much longer time to recover. In fact, reports indicate that 5% of student are taken to visit a psychologist to try and help them recover. Based on that, the government needs to be stricter to prevent children and other citizens from accessing those sites. It is impossible for the government to remove that content from the internet since they are being uploaded worldwide. However, the UAE official could limit the number of people accessing it on a daily basis. After the introduction of the monitoring system, the local authorities have been able to arrest some people who are disobeying such policies.

The UAEs Telecommunication Regulatory Authority have explained that the update laws regarding VPN use would not affect the legitimate user of a virtual private network. There has been several complaints from the citizens that the government is monitoring their internet usage which is a violation of their privacy. In fact, several people have sued the government for violating their rights since it is believed that the UAE officials are monitoring every activity of the people. However, the TRA officials have explained that people who do not visit any unauthorized sites should not be worried since the system tend to monitor only people who are accessing offensive contents.

In the recent months, the government of UAE has enacted more policing that states whoever uses a fraudulent computer or using a false address to access various sites would be arrested. Such laws are to prevent fraudsters from downloading offensive content are selling them to the residents (Teagarden, 2009). It is believed that some people are using their IT techniques to access those sites without the system identifying them. As such, they end up selling that content to people which are against the law. To ensure that such actions are reduced, the new law would ensure that any person found using different VPN codes would be arrested.

In conclusion, we need more policing of the internet for the offensive content in UAE. With the increased level of technology, people are coming up with new methods of accessing and watching offensive content from the internet. In that light, the official must keep track with the level of technology by enacting more policies that would combat those measures. The main idea is to prevent any offensive content from corrupting the minds of the young generation. Also, such content is believed to increase the issue of prostitution in the country.
