Introduction
Teaching refers to the concerted effort of sharing an organized body of knowledge and experience within a field of study, as well as, the provision of stimulus to the psychological and intellectual growth of an individual. Teaching is widely regarded as a profession that holds a prominent aim and purpose (Calderhead, 1991). Unlike other careers, it is a field with a deeper meaning. Teaching is fundamental in inculcating values, attitudes, and behaviors in learners. In particular, it entails instilling confidence in learners and enabling them to realize their dreams. In this way, teaching is to a significant degree essential in reproducing a sense of who one is and what one aspires to be in future.
Effective teaching unleashes the learners' energies, creativity and, imagination. For this, educators must be immensely passionate about teaching the way artists are deeply interested in the arts. With great passion, zeal, and enthusiasm, teachers can impart the utmost knowledge they possess on a subject in the best possible way hence motivating students to rise, overcome their fears and seek for relevance in their pursuit of success. Besides, teachers can train students on what is right and wrong besides training them on specific subjects (Kennedy, 1999). At the same time, learners can be inspired or influenced by their teachers thus enabling them to move forward and fulfill their career goals and objectives. Therefore, it is evident that what an individual is taught culminates into an education which lays the foundation for his or her future. Kennedy (1999) noted that uneducated persons find it difficult to muddle through some aspects of life. It is also important to note that teaching expands learners' vision and awareness thereby allowing them to know the world beyond their surroundings.
Currently, education is becoming liberal, open, and more interesting. It is the premise of every society. The development of Independent School district (ISD) is proof of how high the content of education keeps pace with the needs of modern society and mirrors its goals, priorities, and standards. This has opened up plenty of occupations which call for people with specialized skills and knowledge.
Independent School district ensures that learners achieve the skills and self-confidence to be successful in an ever-changing world. They carry out this by providing conducive and propitious educational environment that enhances the development of both academic and emotional wellbeing of learners (Theobald, 1990). The ISD also use Comprehensive School Improvement Plans to prioritize improvement needs for learners to be academically successful and college and career set. The good qualities of Dynamic ISD are also evident on how they identify and support teachers and cater for a greater variety of students as they are based in a cosmopolitan city that is more diverse in the USA.
Conclusion
Despite its ups and downs, teaching is quite satisfying. I prefer to teach in order to make a difference especially in the lives of the younger generation. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and will continue with the profession because it has enabled me to continue learning and inspire students to work towards unleashing their innate power and intuitive abilities. With enough support, teaching can be more satisfying. Principally, the nature and kind of support offered in ISD make it easy for students to attain their educational goals and objectives. More importantly, the services available in ISDs together with the explicit support they give to both educators and the broader community is sufficient to ensure that no child is left behind in the process of learning.
