Misunderstandings between the children and their parents have often gone far back. The disagreements have existed as far as families were created. Different parenting methods have always existed between the different families. For instance, differences and misunderstandings have been found in "The Veldt" where due to lack of communication in the family, the family is filled with challenges, lack of trust, and respect. Without respect, love and trust in a family the relationship between parents and children are bound to be rock. Parents are powerful forces that guide the lives of children.
