Through the fixed price system, sellers and buyers transact at pre-determined process and sellers have the liberty of reducing prices through the best offer features provided by the incorporation's platforms (Hershey et al., 2006). The eBay Incorporation, however, operates in a competitive market in which they face competition from online retailers such as Alibaba, Wal-Mart, Amazon and the Home Shopping network.

The eBay Incorporation's Stakeholders and the Rational for Change

The incorporations stakeholders can be categorized into internal and external stakeholders. However, consumers, also regarded as buyers, product and service sellers, the incorporation's team and shareholders form a primary stakeholder for the enterprise. Third party clients also form an important role in the enterprise's business operations.

However, there is a need for change to make services more efficient, generate consumer and stakeholder satisfaction and measure up to the intense competition in online retail services.

A primary objective of eBay Incorporation is to offer efficient services to both the stakeholders, consumers and product sellers. With the enterprise's vision based upon the realization of the increased volume of sale returns, actively trigger its service concerns and increase its geographical scope about general service provision, there is a need for change. However, a change of the enterprise's subsystems is objective at making the firm gain market leadership. Particular subsystem including the official company website that links sellers to buyers must be changed. The official website of the incorporation should be changed to allow consumers to develop market processes for certain services. Rather than the process giving all liberty to sellers, both parties should be granted the freedom. Such a move is subject to eliminate monopoly (Goetsch, & Davis, 2016).

The eBay StubHub platform connects fans with their favourite sporting activities and artists. The platform also allows for sales and purchase of tickets related to the sporting events. However, it does not give opportunities for the fan to interact with favourite sportspersons. A change of the StubHub platform to allow for interactions between fans and favourite sportspersons is subject to make eBay services more enticing hence attracting more consumers.

Changes must, however, be introduced based on certain re-alignment. For instance, the first changes should be an improvement of the service scope of the market items it provides. A change for subsystems will have an impact on eBay's income through expansion of geographical scope and attraction of more consumers. The changes are subject to improve value hence generating consumer satisfaction. A change would see stakeholder's benefit from improved services, improved quality and scope of operation. Consumers would also have a huge variety of items to sell and purchase.
