Introduction
According to some Evangelicalism/Pentecostalism, there are religious activities that remained unquestioned. For instance, in the bible, the incarnation is the dogma and the mystery of the Word that was made Flesh. The man still struggles to understand the mystery of Jesus and the nature of God. The Bible acknowledges Jesus as having the power and the nature of God and that He existed before the creation of the universe. Efforts to reconcile the human nature and the divine resulted in various historical and classic interpretations. With lack of understanding of some of the above teachings, some people often attempt to adhere to some religious beliefs, a situation that leads to religious pluralism. The above scenario, therefore, leads to the debates concerning the nature of the core beliefs among the Evangelicalism/Pentecostalism.

As a result of religious pluralism, there have been different debates on the teachings of God and the methods applied by the evangelical leaders in passing the teachings of the Bible and other religious books. The belief in the beliefs brought about by the religious pluralism can, therefore, be interpreted to mean the diversity in the worldview and the teachings of the bible and other religious books. With religious pluralism, people tend to question things, and they can only fit on what they believe as the right method to the religion. In the current religious practices, there emergence of different religious affiliations as a result of religious pluralism. The modernism has made people question some of the religious practices and going by the traditional beliefs, individuals in the contemporary world tend to advance different ways of doing thing. For instance, the perception of baptism is different. The way it should be conducted differs with denominations; this, therefore, means that people or believers are deviation from the doctrines of churches. However, in modern society, the above scenario should be interpreted to mean the diversity in thinking and adherence a given religious belief. In the contemporary world, there is the advancement in science, a scenario that makes people question some of the teachings of the Bible, a situation that leads to the debates on some of the evangelical or Pentecostal practices. For instance, Some Christians belief that Catholics doctrines are not in line with the teachings of the Bible as they embrace the use of symbols that resembles idols. However, Catholics beliefs in the ideas of the early church. In other words, the belief that the Bible is the same and that the contemporary world should not have influence on the doctrines of early church.
According to the original doctrines of Pentecostalism or evangelism, baptism was the sole process of connecting with God. However, with religious pluralism, people tend to have a different view of baptism. There are believers who embrace the process of being born again as the only way of connecting with God.
