Determination of what I wanted to be in life was a continuous ambition as I frequently consulted my dreams, passion and academic abilities. During my high school, I engaged in involuntary activities in the nearby Assisted Living Facility (ALF) for individuals living with disabilities as well as those that were terminally ill. Undeniably, this was a fundamental turning point in my life based on the fact that I was able to observe what it means when people can regain their strength and ability to perform the tasks that they previously could not. Through this experience, I was able to have an open discussion regarding the entire field of OT and its components. It is during my time as a volunteer that I began the advocacy for good health through the provision of quality OT services and even continued with such initiative throughout my college. After college, I obtained a sensory/motor and cognitive coach position in a program dubbed 'brain balance'. I was able to further my skills and interests in the occupational therapy. I was tasked with various roles that included helping children develop their fine motor skills, cognitive skills, gross motor skills, social skills, and self-care tasks. I was able to merge these experiences with my personality so as to solidify my interest in becoming an OT.

The aptitude that I possess regarding the higher education and suitability to work as an occupational therapist can also be illustrated by the skills and knowledge that I gained during my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. As part of this degree, I was able to achieve substantial experience in various courses such as the introduction to kinesiology, understanding biomechanics, human anatomy and physiology, teaching physical education, human motor development and the principle of fitness. Besides, the experience of being enrolled in Kinesiology enabled me to make appropriate decisions thereby ensuring that I pursue an exciting career of my choice. I have considerably participated in various research studies with my undergraduate professors in multiple areas within the field of occupational therapy, and this profoundly demonstrates my desire to engage in the research that may involve the evaluation of the new theoretical perspectives. In this way, therefore, I have a considerable feeling that a Master program in OT offered by your institution is the right course for me, as I also look forward to completing the program with my fullest enthusiasm.

It is worth mentioning that the OT program at your university is globally recognized because of its ability to expose students to new ideas and techniques they can utilize to understand people around them and the society as a whole.
