Introduction
The medical profession an important part of human life. Health care is the backbone of economic and social development as almost every man alive depends on medical support to stay alive. It is because of this that many people do find themselves trying to learn medicine and be able to come up with better ways to cure illnesses. In fact, this is the more reason as to why research in medicine never ends. Many students are doing their studies in order for them to gain professional prowess in the field and be able to come up with medicine and cure for the various illnesses all over the world today (Martin, 2014). As such, many patients usually rely on the prowess of the physicians and their promising capabilities to keep them off diseases. However, there is still a lot in the medical field that is to be looked at bearing the fact that the same is a key player for many and that mistakes are most likely to cause dire consequences. It is because of this that there is an insight into the ethics applied in the same field and the way they are supposed to be useful when it comes to rendering perfect and harmonized medical attention to persons of interest (Cianci, Hannah, Roberts & Tsakumis, 2014). With clear ethical stands and outlined practices, there is a better chance of ensuring that the health care provided to persons is the best and that professional practice is upheld and practiced.
As a leader, the Keirsey Temperament Sorter has been able to outline the best approach on the type of leader I am and also been able to highlight how the same can be proven with respect to the traits I hold. Form the sorter; it has an impact on me being an artisan kind of a leader whereby I am able to engage a lot in artistic traits. Looking at the way I really uphold the art of creativity and that of adaptability together with generosity, there is a higher chance of me being able to make a stand and just go ahead to follow it to the latter without looking at the possible pecks involved. (Cianci, Hannah, Roberts & Tsakumis, 2014).
Furthermore, an artisan leader has an outstanding stand when it comes to crisis management and hence he or she is able to handle issues as they come in a composed yet understanding manner. Being such a leader, being able to work on issues and other challenges are one defining pact that makes one person ensure that he or she stays at the peak and mainly makes sure that even with problems, there is a chance at creating some part of harmony at the end of the day. Furthermore, adventure and variety define me hence the artisan docket (Disch, 2014). The need to try out new things and to have the need to tackle new things a different way so as to see the outcomes is a way that defines a leader with such traits hence making it worthy.
Because I do believe in myself to be a leader, there are some traits that I do have that are highly in line with the given traits in the Kiersey Temperamental Sorter that defines me to be an artisan leader. Looking at the given traits and some more, there is a high connection that really does define me to the same traits and the way I am able to carry out myself endlessly. By being able to sort out ways and come up with ideas even in the event that there seems to be none brings out my crafty nature that is quite important in helping me to create ideas and make these ideas work just so that I can be able to solve a problem (Yilmaz & O'Connor, 2015). This means that at the end of the day, with all the available traits and the traits given, being an artisan seems to be the most luring way to work things out especially in situations that deserve a lot of the mind to do creative work. However, this is not the same because, at some point, there have to be challenging especially when carrying out duty and when trying to make things work. As an artisan leader, it is at times very hard for one to be able to convince other staff of the ideas in his mind and therefore, receive a lot of disapproval from them. For many, this can be demeaning and even work them off their morale to work on the same effect. (Francis, Craig & Robbins, 2008).
In addition, as an artisan leader, it is easy for me to meet with a lot of people who will not be comfortable with me trying out my ideas because of the way they might seem crafty and even though they may not be certified. With the idea of ethics and code of conduct in mind, most of my possible actions will be seen to be a violation of the same and in fact, many will feel as though instead of doing my job as a doctor, I am instead trying to conduct my own research on them hence bringing out more problems that are linked to the same (Yilmaz & O'Connor, 2015). For instance, maybe there can be a shortage of hemorrhage pills, and a patient with bleeding problems has been brought in. while trying to think of the best way to save this patient, I decided to get other drugs that have the same contents and combine them to help sort this problem. However, when the patient is told about that, he or she starts feeling rather unsafe and even declines. Furthermore, there might be a crisis where a patient might have eaten fish, and a bone stuck somewhere. However, instead of deciding to operate and remove it, you choose to give him some drugs that would digest food particles faster and in turn also reduce the size of the bone to allow it to move and be removed. However, the patient is still pessimistic over the same because the said drugs are test drugs and not yet well proven. (Francis, Craig & Robbins, 2008).
Conclusion
In summary, the best way to go about this would be to approach the patient and use the crafty yet artistic prowess to convince them of the need to do such and the way you as a medical practitioner are trying to solve an impending crisis. By talking to them and convincing them of the actions, patients are most likely to agree and give the same a chance. This does not only apply to patients but also the staff especially when coming up with ideas and letting them in would have their input and as such, many minds are able to come up with something epic.
