Introduction
With the advent of technology in the 21st century, most operations have been atomized. Consequently, it has become easier and faster to conduct most operations. This paper, therefore, seeks to further elucidate the architecture of the SAS intelligence platform components including its components and uses.
First and foremost, the SAS intelligence platform is a broad end-to-end infrastructure used for managing, creating and dispensing enterprise intelligence. The interface is composed of interfaces and tools that enable one to perform some operations such as; extracting data from an array of operations on data sources on numerous platforms. Secondly; it can be used to construct data marts and data warehouse that can be used in integrating data extracted (Zeng, Li et al. 2006).
Also, it is used to store huge volumes of data in an organized manner and a wide range of layouts while providing business operators of all stages with the capability to survey data in an internet browser. Moreover, it can be used for important analytic skills to deliver capabilities for instance; descriptive forecasting, simulation, and modeling. Lastly, it can be used to perform and undertake simple queries while reporting functions. And viewing current results of the sophisticated analysis (Zeng, Li et al. 2006).
Building an enterprise intelligence infrastructure can be done with the use of applications from diverse salespersons that have specialized in the area. Nonetheless, the execution procedure would be time-consuming and exceedingly difficult. However, using the SAS intelligence platform, one can fully employ end-to-end intelligence infrastructure using testable software that can be tested, delivered and assimilated by the statistical analysis system (Milolidakis et al. 86).
This system has been designed to work even in the most complicated systems as well as in heterogeneous information in technological surroundings thus using the tools that have been provided by the SAS intelligence platform; one can generate important applications that portray the exceptional requirements of a business as well as domain information.
The program also functions as a basis for SAS corporate resolutions in regions such as customer intelligence, financial intelligence, and supply chain intelligence, and can also be used to come up with answers for vertical markets, for instance, life sciences, financial services healthcare manufacturing, and retail (Milolidakis, et al. 87).
Some of the components of this system include extract, transform, and load (ETL) and data integration. These enable one to manage and consolidate data from some source systems technologies as well as application. These constituents are delivered to assist one replicate to synchronize, migrate, cleanse and promote data thus it becomes possible for all metadata of the intelligence assets to be stored at a central location and be controlled through a single management interface (Milolidakis, et al. 82).
The other component is the interface. SAS provides one of the widest and richest selections of analytical outcomes in the software business. The selection is made up of products for analysis of text mining, statistical data., quality improvement, forecasting. Econometrics, and operations research. Other components include business intelligence and intelligence storage

In conclusion, therefore, the SAS intelligence platform has grown to become important in recent years. As discussed above, some of the components of the system, as well as some of its uses, have been discussed above, and thus its importance in the business industry cannot be overemphasized.
